Lars, you haven't said whether this is the Kenner or the Palitoy version. Please can you amend the title so I know which pictures to post?I first learned about the land speeder in 2001 when I began to collect star wars toy. I never saw it in denmark for sale in the 80s when I was a kid. I have also never seen it in a danish childhood lot. But I think it is a really cool vehicle and it is sad that it maybe never was sold in denmark.
maybe some small toyshops imported it. But star wars toy first began to hit the big toy stores after the empire strikes back in denmark. I have heard that most of the danish shops did not believe in the star wars toy before after the empire strikes back, maybe first in 1982 star wars toy began to hit the shops in denmark. But the collector series of the landspeeder could have been sold in denmark since kenner first did that after rotj. But I have never seen it sold so far in denmark or heard about it was sold in denmark.Strange it wasn't available. One of the earliest vehicles and more affordable than the others. I never had one, but I remember quite a few of my friends did.

Hi Lars,Hi Jeremy, it is for all landspeeder kenner, palitoy, meccano, harbert and also the toltoys landspeeder if you have any
If I remember correct it was only the playsets we did split up to 2 threads.
A lovely example, and very well displayed too! That's a nice little Tatooine scene / theme going on there! Here's my loose Palitoy Landspeeder. Alas, no boxed one. Maybe something for the future...
Hi jeremy, thanks. I will keep them as they are, we also have the sonic landspeeder so 3 threads with landspeeders will maybe be to much I thought maybe it was because the difference between the playsets was bigger than on the landspeeder but let us keep it as it is now. I can't wait to see your land speeder collectionHi Lars,
You do remember correctly, but only because when I replied to your original post regarding doing another Toy of the Week, and I suggested separating out the Kenner and the Palitoy playsets, I forgot to also request a separation of the Landspeeders (Kenner and Palitoy), and for exactly the same reasons; the toys are similar, but actually quite different, and the boxes are also completely different.
However, obviously this is your idea and it will be done however you want it to be done since you're the one doing all the hard work (and many thanks again for that; it really is appreciated), so if you do want the Landspeeders to all be grouped together then of course they can be, however if you did decide to separate them, that would make perfect sense to me too, after all they were separated in the Vehicle of the year vote.
Thanks.
Jeremy

I bought it when they first came out. Superb quality. Shame they went bust, as they had ESB and ROTJ sets in the pipeline. Fits perfectly on my cabinet shelving.
A fine example! It looks like it's in lovely condition. Here's mine

Lovely trio! The boxes look fantastic when displayed together like thatI have fond memories of the Landspeeder as a child.
Had no idea about the 2 kenner versions (open bonnet and sonic controlled) until I picked up a collectors book mid 90's.
Glad I didn't know they existed as a kid as I'd have never been able to get one!
