Got any horror pics??

Just received this off eBay. I knew it didn't work so wasn't too fussed but if you ever wondered how 40 year old batteries fair!! Here's your answer

Still, pretty chuffed to have these 2 in the collection now. My 4 year old is playing them to death

I just got a snowspeeder in the other day and two of the terminals were corroded. Got them cleaned off with some vinegar and a little bit of 2000 grit sandpaper and now it works fine. :D

As already mentioned good clean with white vinegar and wire wool and good as new, cannot believe the seller did not check the battery area and dump them , but fun to rejuvenate back to full health :)

I agree! A mate of mine has a childhood toy nostalgia cabinet and pride of place is given to a D cell Ever Ready battery. Looks so cool :)
