The At at to scale would have been awesome too.

But nothing would be the deathstar to scale ;)

I started thinking about scale of the toys today whilst watching ESB. In the Hoth attack when Luke's running alongside the At-At just before he brings it down he's slightly smaller than the foot. I worked out that would make an in scale with a vintage figure At-At roughly 5 feet tall!!

1. AT-AT (Yes)
2. Imperial Shuttle (No)
3. Slave 1 (Yes)
4. Palitoy DeathStar (Yes)
5. Millenium Falcon (No)
6. AT-ST (Yes)
7. SnowSpeeder (Yes)
8. Imperial Transporter (Yes)
9. Y-Wing Fighter (Yes)
10. B-Wing Fighter (No)

Honorable mention to 'The Force Beam' toy which was the 1st lightsaber I owned!

1. First lightsaber - yes, a little blue handled torch with a 12" plastic tube, remember seeing it in a catalogue, still the centre piece of my collection.
2. Millennium Falcon - yes and would love to see a picture of my face when I opened it!
3. AT AT Walker - yes, couldn't believe the size of it
4. X Wing - yes, opening wings!
5. Snowspeeder - yes, begged my mum and dad for another Luke X Wing figure so I could have 2 pilots.
6. Y Wing fighter - no but now yes as I got it this Christmas!
7. Tuantaun - yes, anything to do with ESB and especially Hoth was a winner for me
8. Scout Walker - yes, the year I got it we had lots of snow - I had to be dragged inside to eat!
9. B Wing fighter - yes, my last big SW toy and still one of my favourites
10. Speederbike - yes, just so cool. The day I got this I was showing some friends (they lived in 5th floor flat) when it exploded over the balcony - Bolt couldn't have run down those stairs quicker than me!

You are clearly more interested in the vehicles rather than the playsets..
Yes I remember getting my speederbike and they always caused a stir - it didn't last long.
You got the y-wing for Crimbo do you mean to say they're still selling them in the bargain bin at woolies?

Here's my top ten:

1) Landspeeder - no, but all my mates had them... always played with theirs at any given opportunity
2) Palitoy Death Star - Kid
3) X-Wing (with Battle damage) - Kid
4) AT-AT - Kid
5) Y-Wing - no
6) Imperial Attack Base - no
7) Imperial Shuttle - no
8 ) AT-ST -Kid
9) Rebel Transport - Kid... I know its dull, but it holds such good memories and I used to take the gun seats out for 'bases'
10) Droid Factory - no

After this list the greatest pleasure has been getting the cardboard sets as a collector such as Cloud City and Land of the Jawas, the art work is so iconic sand beautiful to me…

I know what you mean about the Rebel Transporter a huge toy and great box that come with those cool hoth accessory packs but you couldn't really do much flying with it fully loaded since your arm would fall off.
Even though I knew the scene wasn't in the film I used to spend hours/days placing all my figures into the compartments. I tried desperately to get a second ship so I could have a hero and rogue gallery ship.

Who needs a falcon when you have the DeathStar!

I love my Land of the Jawas set too, never had the cloud City but do have the Hoth playset which I now think is a waste of time if you have an AT-AT (or 3)

Which makes it about 1/2 scale then so not great but I suppose the imagination sorts that out.

Love the to scale Millennium Falcon. :D

1) Millenium Falcon (Yes)
2) AT-AT (Yes)
3) Slave 1 (Yes)
4) X-Wing (No)
5) Tie Fighter (No)
6) Snow Speeder) (Yes)
7) Darth Vaders Tie Fighter (No)
8) Tie Intercepter (Yes)
9) AT-ST (Yes)
10) Jabba The Hutt (No)

Still haven't got over not getting a X-Wing as a kid.

Great thread

1. Palitoy Death Star (yes) - my brother had this, was well loved and sadly binned in the end.
2. Snow speeder (no) - absolutely love this ship now
3. X-wing (yes) - love everything about it and again was favourite ship as a child
4. Millenium Falcon (yes) - the ultimate ship as a child, so much play value
5. At-At (no) - cousin had one and I loved it, first thing I bought when getting back into collecting.
6. Imperial Shuttle (no) - still haven't got one but on my hit list for 2015
7. Speeder Bike (yes) - always loved them, the exploding mechanism was awesome
8. Kenner Death Star (No) - another great play set and completely different to palitoy version, definitely want one in the future
9. Rancor Monster (No) - would have loved this as a kid but never saw them in the shops
10. Jabba Playset (yes) - awesome, iconic, so much play value

That's how it stands at present but 6 through to 10'could easily change daily

What d'you mean half scale? Not with ya?

In relation to the figures the toy AT-AT was about 1/2 scale since they are about 21/2 foot high.

Oh yeah I see what you mean, half scale - vintage AT-AT is half the size it should be to be in correct ratio to a figure. I want to make one out of cardboard now just to see what it looks like next to a Luke X-Wing :D
