1) Threads - a film about what happens to people in sheffield when a 1MT nuclear device explodes in a worldwide nuclear war. It scared me shitless and even now it bothers me, I suppose because it could happen...

2) The Day After - Similar reasons to above.

3) Terminator - the scene with the kids looking at the fire in the TV really freaked me out for some reason...
