Is this the new thing on eBay? An auction with make an offer. I've certainly never seen it before.

Yeah that's been a feature for years that has, next time you list an item you'll see you can choose to add both, however if someone places a bid then the BIN box will disappear, but if it's got a reserve on it then even if there's tons of bids on it someone can still outdo everyone and click BIN if the bids haven't yet reached the reserve, if the bids reach the reserve, then again the BIN box disappears.

Haha my apologies i'm so used to seeing that with the BIN box I just thought that's what it was, so yeah that's new to me too then as iv'e never seen that before either. :lol:

Seems weird to make an offer without any BIN price.

I've seen this twice now which is a nice idea. Both times I've made an offer for it to be cancelled because someone bid on it instead. It kind of ruins the point of the best offer and you think people would want to get something cheaper.
