Sorry for the late reply, but be very careful with this situation.
Recently I had a bad transaction as a buyer on eBay which the seller got very angry with me for no reason and I had to get eBay involved to sort out the problem which eBay sided with me.
If this was me, I would 100% want the buyer to send lots of pictures of the item to you, so detailed high quality pictures front and back so you can say 100% that its your item in the picture or not.
If you have agreed for the item to be returned after seeing that the item is in fact yours, take pictures of the item arriving back to you with you recording the unboxing of the package and then show the camera close up straight away of what arrived, hopefully if this is the case and its your item everything is fine but if for some reason its not then you will at least have some evidence on your side.
Its always hard to know what eBay thinks for each case, as a seller and a buyer eBay have always agreed with me so far so I do hope if anything happens with this transaction that eBay will be in your favour.
