The LEGO Corner

Sadly no car with the GB Firehouse, so if you can find one, grab one now as it won't be around long. I don't think Lego keep more than two ideas on the shelves for long, so with BB and Walee out now and Dr Who hitting shelves soon I assume the Ecto 1 car will be end of life soon.

I've never seen anything specifically targeted at Lego as a product, but I am sure that you can contact one of the co panties that make cases with the dimensions and they would make it?

GBHQ does look good, although I think I would have preferred to see a dark orange brick rather than the bright red gloss. Still, I'm happy enough to buy it :)

I think it is a definite one to buy.

Saw a picture of it alongside all the modular buildings and it looks pretty good in comparison 8)

Yeah, I think it will look great lined up with the modular sets.

Seeing some cool looking force awakens poly bags appearing. poe's xwing mini build and a Finn in stormtrooper outfit, no idea how you would get them yet, also it seems in Nov the mail will be giving away a 1st order tie-fighter.

If any of you have daughters it is roumored that the two new frozen sets will be getting an early release, maybe even Sunday...

Well my childhood love for Lego is re-kindled, spent my evenings this week building Wall-E.

Imperial Shuttle Tydirium should be coming for christmas

That's a cool piece 8)

I have so much lego to build at the moment (9 modular buildings sand crawler, sail barge!) Plus I've now decided I want to get the lego railway sets!!

Then of course there's all the new sets coming out in January!!

Ha, I am chucking. Lego railways is a path to endless expense and joy... There are some great Amazon deals on the current city trains, which come with full power functions and track, so while they aren't collector trains they get everything up and running. You will then want to start tracking down some of the older trains, the constitution express from the Lone Ranger theme is a lovely train, as is the western train chase set from the toy story line. Then there is the Horizon Express and the Emerald Night and of course the Hogwarts Express, which are all power functions, or power function adaptable. Of course you could go old school and build a 9v system... That's a whole different world :)

I'm really trying to limit myself. Not going for all the older ones like I have with modular (just need the café and the new bank). Will get all the current sets (got 3 already) loads of spare track and any if the older sets I like...possibly the maersk and emerald night...but might just stick with new releases.

Pretty sweet looking Batcave!

No one bought any new Lego recently?

I've been wondering the same recently as there hasn't been much action on here.
I picked up TFA Poe's X-wing the other day for $56 out here in the US that was on sale and my boy had the Death Star for Christmas that took about 14 hours to put together (it was a used one so all the lego was mixed together so I think time could easily be save if everything was in their original bags). Also I bought the UCS Tumbler recently to go with my UCS Sandcrawler and Slave 1, just love those big sets! The other thing I'm waiting on is the carbon freezing chamber that I had to send off to Germany for as it's not available in the US yet for some reason. Oh and I'm also waiting on the last Star Wars millennium falcon to arrive as I prefer it to the new TFA one.

I tend to get all my old lego opened so that I can build it up without worrying about opening a sealed box. I did the same with the cloud city set although that didn't come with any of the figures (way to expensive with those!). I always get tempted with lego and had to pick up the Scooby Van as well as Ecto 1 and the BTTF DeLorean. It's such a great brand and every now and than I discover something new like the Monster fighters that takes my fancy and pick up a couple of sets. At least having a couple of boys I can sort of justify it (although I have got a fair few unopened doubles of sets I've given them to keep for myself  ). Not sure what else will be out this year that I'll have to pick up but my boys are always interested in something new like those Nexo Knights or Ninjago.....it's like a brick nightmare at home!

I would love to buy some Lego Star Wars maybe the star destroyer or falcon but the prices are crazy.
I love space lego and have built up a fairly good boxed collection over the last 10 years.
