lol, i dont think id ever collect lego apart from the few Kubricks ive got of Fett, my son loved the re-release of he-man the 200x line, honestly mate the figures are **** hot!! and the cartoon is cool too.

I bought him a castle greyskull and anout 20 figures for £40, the castle has rockets, battle sounds, dungeon, its ace :)

I have a few.....
I'll take some pictures the weekend as i also have a few I am looking to sell on (complete NBA series with stands and cards anyone?). I went through a phase of collecting every variation of minifigure released and had over 600 at one point but now just pick up ones that appeal and all the others have been consigned to a big spares box. It always amazes me these little figures going for stupid money on the bay, it's one of the reasons i don't buy as many any more.

A couple of pictures of the mini figs I have on display

This is the next lego set I want to get. Quite pricey though so will have to save up. Absolutely love the lego range, got 15 - 20 sets in the loft, cant display them because of my little 2 year old liking them too!!!! :D

I've got the first death star but its pretty boring compared to this one. I liked the fact they had opened it up and made the inside bits. The millenium falcon is pretty impressive as well. Took me roughly 3 - 4 weeks to build as could only do it in the evenings!!

On September 1st, Lego will release the Super Star Destroyer Executor set. When built, it will be four feet long and weigh 8 lbs. It will consist of 3,152 bricks. It will have a removable section with a command bridge underneath, and come with Darth Vader and the bounty hunters you see above. It will cost $400.

Wow, this set looks amazing. The sets just keep getting better and better. Why do they have to be so bloody expensive though!!!

Thought I'd revive an old thread.

I had a couple of parcels waiting for me when I got home today...Happy Days!

very cool mate. you should post some working progress pics of the death star going up?

Thought I might check this thread out because.......------

I am looking for some super cheap Indiana Jones Lego figures (esp. Russian and German soldiers, Belloqs etc)

Anyone got any? (This is for a friend who has kids so I am guessing loose is ok!)

Thought I would bump this to save stu's sale thread!

Yeah the Fett was painful but I got a pretty good deal. I have wanted one for years- a guy on rs answered my wtb thread so I got lucky.
I did buy a shirtless maul a few weeks back for £35... Should have waited a few weeks! Only need the chrome golden rod and I have all the polybags.

I'm loving the new superheroes sets, will be doing a couple more orders to get the new hulk fig methinks. Any suggestions for which sets to get stu? I have all the sub £30 ones. I have the funhouse set on the way, tempted by the batcave and the big hulk set.

Oh and I'm a quarter through the deathstar. I must say it's fecking epic. It totally crosses genres-I'm sure each and everyone of you vintage guys would love that set.

What have you been buying/building stu?

I have most of the sub £30 Super Heroe sets as well Ed.

I picked up the Funhouse and the Batcave. Really want the larger Marvel sets now.

I haven't bought any Star Wars figures for a while (apart from a £6 pick up at Oxfam the other day which was the Hoth Wampa set loose with a few Indian Jones figires in....bargain!)

I want to set up a new display for them as I'm not happy with the Star Wars set up.

I really want to complete a few of the lines aswell ie Indiana run and also my POTC run.

I know what I will be spending on later in the year though mate.....LOTR!!!

I'm in talks with a guy for
lando Luke and Leia cloud city
Watto original
Chrome c3po

I've offered him 400$... does that seem about right? Fecking golden rod is 300$+ now on eBay. Luke Lando and watto are all 50-80$ each.

I'm also working on a new display set up, watch this space!!

Oh and lotr will be brilliant. I really can't wait- some have hit the shelves in the us already so hopefully not too long to wait. Maybe a month?

Not got a lot of room for my lego (and i have a lot)
But just finshed MODing out the interior of the recent Falcon and on a Super Heroe theme, the new Batman stuff is great, built all the Avenger stuff as well, but no photo's :(
Looking forward to the Jabba's Palace due in a few months.

Brilliant stuff.

I am soooo looking forward to the Jabba's Palace, some great MiniFigures in there.

 horay! Another Lego fan!!

Love your collection mate, the falcon looks great buddy! I still haven't built a single falcon yet... Except the midi one which is ***** lol. How long have you been collecting Lego mate?

My recent builds have been:
x wing (love it)
droid escape (great figures and pod, rubbish speeder bike)
Geonosian set (brilliant, wouldn't mind a couple more)
Mauls infiltrator (awful awful set... But great minifigures)
What I have built of the death Star I love!

I can wait for the new Jabbas palace, that will be a must.

I will have to take some snaps of my temporary minifigure display ;)

I'm still in the Lego-closet... :P
I have the X-wing, Mauls Sith Infiltrator, Y-wing, Darth Vaders TIE and an ugly podracer, and lots of minifigs :P
I remember I tried to build lots of SW ships when I was a kid, but could never get a decent likeness, and with the
release of SW Lego, I thought it would be awesome, but building them wasn't half as fun as trying to build one
when I was a kid though....
Loving the Collectors Ed. ones, but too pricey for me... :P

(said quietly :)) but Lego is my main hobby. Came out of my dark ages as they say in 2007. My biggest model is a custom hogwarts I have been building for around four years. I have had several stabs at it and am now half way through version 3, just broken thought the 15k pieces and only a quarter built, so big it takes up half a room, wife hates it :)
As for collecting I have a lot of SW Lego and all the current super heroe stuff and a bit of city and trains, stuff for the kids, my daughter who is only four is mad for all the friends stuff. Oh and winter. Village, which I also design sets for, or did until the LDD buy it service shut down in Jan :(
Sadly most of it lives in boxes etc as there is no room, and when combined with my SW figures well, you get the picture.
Did just get my TC-14 fig after the may 4th offer and waiting until the end of the month to order for the Hulk figure.

Oh
incase it doesnt show in the Falcon Cockpit but i designed my own Liea Calander and printed it out on a sticker back to apply to a 2x2 brick. Too much time on my hands that day
