I think I will have to wait and see on the X-Wing - luckily I have the older. But with the rumour mill swirling around a major Clone Wars wave later in the year....
UCS Venetor Class - c£650 (although we have also had the rumour the big UCS could be a sail barge....)
The Ghost and a T-6 Shuttle (from the upcoming Ashoka show)
Republic Gunship

That is a lot of lego and a lot of cash.....

Oh and in classic Lego Land - an updated Eldorado Fort from the Pirate line......

Man Lego is killing me....

A couple of years ago my sister gave me a ton of Lego for my kids that belonged to my niece and nephew. They were born in 93' and 96' so loads of sets from the late 90's/early 00's. It was all mixed up in one huge bag and we had no idea what was there. At some point I sorted it out a bit and took out all the blocks and plates etc. We've built a few things with it but my kids have hardly played with it and they have a lot of their own sets anyway. So the other week I decided to try and identify some sets browsing online. Discovered there's quite a few Harry Potter sets and some Star Wars! My daughter and I picked the parts and built the Hogwarts Express, Knight Bus, Dumbledores Office, Escape from Privet Drive and a set with a big black spider. I then identified and built an original Tie Bomber which is complete, a couple of Tusken Encounter sets, an Obi Wan Starfighter and a Gungan patrol with a few parts missing. There's definitely many more sets I haven't identified yet, it's quite enjoyable discovering what they are and building them and all the more cool they were my Nephs.

Fantastic, that must have been a big load if Lego to get those sets out of it.

Just bought a job lot and have a few sets from the 70's/80's/90's to move on- general town stuff really. Anyone here collect it or should I just hit Facebook and or eBay?

Took the plunge on this when Argos dropped the price. Worth it at £45 but I'd have struggled to justify it at the RRP

Love seeing some of that 'vintage' lego - the sets were basic by comparison to today - yet almost perfect - the shuttle is a real charmer :)

However, looking forward to this weekend - May 1st is when the promo's start and a fair bit of Jedi 40th Lego going on sale (albeit some of it pushing the boundaries on the price front)....

I had 6059 as a kid, so that's high on my wants list. Would love a display of all of these though!

Two sets from 1999- Lego Rock Raiders 4940 & 4970 for sale
100% complete sets with instructions and boxes
Boxes have wear and a previous owner taped the front flap on 4970 shut. The plastic window inside is still firmly attached and the insert trays are in great shape.
No comic
All in great shape, only one or two slightly discoloured grey bricks, one turquoise brick has a split and one or two others have separation marks.
The light block works
Printed bricks, chrome and mini figures all in excellent condition
£95 posted UK for the pair with payment via PayPal
Pics taken during the build to show the condition.

I really don't want to spend £67 just to get the speederbike and figs

What's the chances theyIMG_6228.jpegIMG_6229.jpeg release them as a small set without the frame and trees?

I'll end up buying this just to get them because it will really finish of a shelf in my room so if anyone wants the background let me know :)
