I have now seen the first 4 episodes of season 3. I think the series are still very good. The first 4 episodes have been really great.

What do you think ?

Yeah - Good stuff so far. I hope they keep it focused on the main story throughout now - no more random episode of the week stuff.

Yeah really enjoying it. Easy to watch and follow with loads of action, and some interesting characters.

Same high standards of animation and story telling.
Adult enough to keep me coming back each week for each new episode.
I hope it continues.🤞

So far I think season 3 is better than season 2. I hope it will continues to be great :)

2 more great episodes this week. The only thing I miss are sun, most of the episodes in season 3 are all at night or inside dark buildings. Any idea why ? are it cheaper to make dark scenes ?

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks this.
Some scenes are so dark it's hard to really see what's going on, and really detracts from the show.

I agree. I'm enjoying the series (I actually think it's the best thing in Disney Star Wars by quite some distance since the disappointment of Mando series 3 and the second half of Ahsoka), but like you, it would be nice to see a few adventures set during the day :)

I thought some of the episodes towards the end of season 2 were quite dark. I've not got round to watching season 3 just yet, i will prob wait until they're all available...looks like i'll be drawing the curtains again then😀

finally we got some more light in the last episode. But funny when we get daylight then it is foggy in the episode. It is like they do not want to make episodes with daylight. What do you think ? could it be more expensive or take more time to make daylight ? But the episode was still great :)

Loving it. Love how the 4 cartoons (inc. Rebels, Clone Wars, Tales of the Jedi) all tie in in some way.

I think you're exactly right! LOL! It's got to be cheaper if they don't have to animate as much! :ROFLMAO:

So are we getting double episodes each week now? This weeks were OK, really they were just setting the scene for the final four episodes and all the carnage I assume that is to come....

The last 2 episodes was great, but i think it was a bad plan about surrender and try to find her again

nice another great episode and we saw a scene with sunshine outside for a few sec. in the beginning of the episode :ROFLMAO:

I hope the double stack the last two episodes next week - not sure I want this to drag out any longer.
I felt this week was fun in parts and functional in others - really just moving the characters around to where they are needed for the grand final.

Last episode was really great and a nice long episode, but a little sad that this are the end of such a great series. I had hoped for a season 4.

Also a cool scene with tarkin coming to the planet with his star destroyer, I guess this must be the first or one the first star destroyers. I do not remember to have seen one before in the bad batch.

Great series that definitely grew on me, and yes I'm disappointed that it's finished too.
I liked the way it was animated, except it could be a bit too dark at times to see what was going on.
A nice link to Rogue One at the end too, it's a shame that we won't get to follow Omega in her adventures with the Rebels.

Really enjoyed that last episode - seeing the beast back for a cameo was fantastic, that was one of the best Clone Wars stories back in the day so to get that reference was a real treat. The story itself was pretty simple but there was enough emotion in it and I loved the ending.

I wouldn't bet that this is the end though, I can see a 'Rebellion' show coming some time that does bring Omega back. there are plenty of stories that can be told/created from that era that won't mess with the timeline and seeing what a rebel cell gets up to over five years of fighting could be fun - maybe something that strikes a different tone to Rogue One... The animation is too good for this to be the end....

An untrained girl undermines strong male leads by believing in her own awesomeness.

So Disney predictable.

There was 1 or 2 5 star episodes this season, but all Disney Star Wars is predictable. There is ZERO peril.

Have to agree there - overall the creative team seemed to have been hamstrung by Disneys need to appeal to a mass/younger audience (Mando season 3 anyone) - therefore the peril and darkness that would have been a natural fit with the story were mostly missing. If you look at it for what it was - a mostly fun epilogue to the Clone Wars stories, then it worked fine, but it could have been a lot more.

As said I liked the happy ending - old solders finding some peace - nothing wrong there, but it does feel like a missed opportunity - but then again, maybe that's the 40 something view of a show that is aimed at 10 year olds :)
