Really like the look/sound of this and the interview with Leslye Headland is very encouraging. My one reservation is that I hope it doesn't go too down the martial arts route, but I'm happy to go with it. Love the poster.

Looking forward to it - haven't watched the trailer as I avoid trailers like the plague these days ! I hope it's got a bit of grit and darkness to it and it's placed in a more "lived in" universe. I found Ahsoka a bit "polished"
Fingers crossed 🤞

Woke-a-mania bingo! I got a full house in 4 seconds.

I dread this project.

"For over a thousand generations ..... " Nevermind.

"At last we will reveal ourselves to the jedi"....Nevermind.

Leslye Headland is said some radically feminist things and was also Harvey Weinsteins Personal Assistant. Perfect qualifications to slip into George Lucas shoes.

I'd LOVE to be proved wrong, but I think this is going to be as bad as Disneys Willow nonsense. A load of woke virtue signalling with flat characters, a story that rips up the lore and a loest common denominator Pepsi interpretation of mythical philosophy and allegory story telling.

Surely NOTHING can be as bad as Willow :ROFLMAO: She won me over a bit with her interview on the link above. She was REALLY into the 90's EU stuff etc- sounds like a proper fan. I like the idea of the thriller/mystery story, Jedi being knocked off etc. Decent cast, too. Has great potential and the trailer looks good. Of course, it could all go pear-shaped. Not too long until we find out...

🤣🤣🤣🤣
It's all so boringly predictable isn't it.
Apparently, our Leslye drinks from the furry cup. You'd never know, as she only mentions it every ******* five seconds.

I'll still give it a go for the laughs, but I think we all know where this is going.

What with this and Lucas siding with the Disney 'White Slavers' (his words) in Igers proxy battle with Nelson Peltz, I think its safe to say SW has been finally flushed down the *******.

The first new Acolyte figures were released today. I haven't bothered.
It's a shame that companies are obligated to commit resource to the next Disney flop and not what the fans want.

I think they may stay the course until all the original fans have been pushed out and replaced by kids who think patricide makes sense for love story

There is an exclusive clip (the bar fight in full) for it after the Phantom Menace at the cinema right now as well - looks really good

Well I'd avoided the trailers (like I normally do with any trailers) but since the preview clip was on after tonights showing of EP1 I got to see it and after all the **** bashing it's had I was pleasantly surprised how it looked to be fair. Not sure why it got so much bad press after the trailer but I can't comment on that having not seen it. Anyway.... after tonight's clip I'm looking forward to it 👍

I wonder if a bit of the crap being thrown at it (before anyone had seen anything) was more to do with Disney and people views on KK. The production for the show hasn't had the best press in terms of the rumours flying around about it, (got to love the internet) so people just spin out what they want from there.

I'm really looking forward to this one - we've never had anything TV/Film based from this period, it look like it's setting a dark(ish) tone and the talent on display is great.

Well the trailers looks good. But I read that the series is set about 100 years before episode 1  I do not undertand why they need to make a series that go so far back. When there are
so many other series or movies they could make.

What about a movie or series about how palpatine became a sith master and who trained him to become a sith ?

and there are so many holes between episode 1 and episode 6 where there can be made stories. What about a boba series when he was younger in the time between episode 3 and episode 6.

stories about how count dooku became a sith  or how general grievous was created

maybe a thrawn movie or series before return of the jedi

also some stories with r2-d2, c-3po, luke, leia, solo and chewbacca between episode 4 and 6, with all this cgi stuff then they should be able to make a movie with them just like they did a little bit in rogue one when we saw tarkin and leia (y)

I'm really looking forward to this. It's new Star Wars stories on our TV. What i've seen looks great.
Bring it on.

Is it just me or is something wrong. Today it is the 4th and on disney plus in denmark they will first show it the 5th  even on wikipidia they write the 4th.

What the **** is going on ?

4th in the US, I think, so the time difference means we have to get it on the 5th. I was expecting it today as well- annoying!

Had 3 hours from 4:30pm today with the house to myself and no work, so thought great watch first two Acolyte episodes. Then realised it's tomorrow. 😞😂
