This really shows you what was done with the effects for the TFA but DON'T WATCH if you haven't see the film yet as it gives everything away (well almost).
There's a lot more work there than I expected but it just shows you how good the quality of the VFX's are and also that it really does make a difference to have at least some live action mixed in with the CG.
That was brilliant. I wonder how much material like that will be released with the initial bluray package and how much we'll have to wait for some special edition or other nearer the release of Rogue One.
Wow - that is amazing - and just goes to show the effort made for even 10-15 seconds of scene - surprised they have allowed this out so soon after the film is out just because you get a great deal of it
I'm pretty sure this shouldn't be out there and turned up around the same time the Oscar nominations came out so I'm thinking it was submitted to the academy by ILM or another VFX house. Still, it's quite an eye opener
