Taiwan Boba Fett Blaster?

I've said it before and i'll say it again, although their is no documented carded proof (yet), I have a hunch that blaster also came with later versions of the Luke Stormtrooper figure. The ones with the bigger hole punch...

Also the first time I have heard that :shock:

Hi Ian, thanks for kind words. I thought the Droids Boba Fett was taiwan. So are you talking about a Taiwan from another card and a Taiwan from the droids card ?

From what I can tell the Droids Fett is Taiwan but I think the Taiwan version was available since Jedi (not 100% sure when it first arrived on the scene so any more knowledge on this is appreciated), so yes I do mean a Taiwan coo from another card.

I'd say the weapon is only found with the Droids card as far as Boba is concerned and I THINK the Taiwan Fetts started with the 77 backs.

What do you mean a later version, a POTF or Tri-Logo variant?

I mean POTF but somebody did post once that they found this weapon with a Tri Luke Stormie as a kid. Also, "version" might be the wrong word to use as I meant later produced.

I've heard people saying this blaster also came with the Luke and if there is a latter release POTF figure then it's quite possible IMO. What's the time difference between the release of the POTF Luke and droids Fett?

That's what I was thinking although from Jedi534 it sounds like that might not be right. I don't really know enough about this to comment but If the Taiwan Fett started from the 77 backs then we'll have to wait and see if anyone notices this blaster with their carded Jedi Fett 77 or 79 back.

Great find mate, that looks the same as Lars blue/black V5 to me, I was even thinking it was repo as James hadn't come across one before and it's not on the gunnery. So at this time the blue/black V5 confirmed with the Taiwan Fett and the blue/grey confirmed with the Droids Taiwan Fett.

I second what Lars said about sending a big thanks to everyone who helped out with the information on this thread. I feel we all learned something new and I'm sure we'll find lots of other variations on weapons packed with figures as time goes on.

Hi guys in the big lot I received last month from søren, I found a Taiwan Boba Fett with the same blaster. When søren bought this figure with that blaster from a Danish Childhood collection it came with a Boba Fett Kenner cardback 65 Made In Taiwan. The chest is more light green than other Boba Fett figures I have seen with the same coo.

That's one nice looking Fett!!

Good to know there's more proof about where this blaster was issued and I think the close up picture of the weapon should be on the TIG weaponry guide as it's the clearest one I've ever seen!

I'd agree with that and think yours looks light because its in great condition with no discolouration, how does he compare to other loose Taiwan's you have?

He looks the same as the other one I have but the other one has a darker green armour. I also have some other Taiwan Boba Fett figures but the coo is not 100% the same as this 2 figures so I have not compared the armour color with them.

Sounds interesting Lars, I didn't realise there was different Taiwan Fett's, when you get 5 min spare it would be cool to see a picture of the dark and light armour together.
