dark lord said:The V5 i have isn't a soft plastic its very much like an original and not brittle like most repro imperial blasters. I can't remember who i got it from or which figure it came with.It probably came with a stormtrooper figure i obtained a long time ago....
tiefighterboy said:Jay great to see my rare lead repro of the Imperial Blaster made it on your site, Be aware these exist for the pistol as well.
tiefighterboy said:By the way the repro Han carbonite block has bubbles in it and smells like cat piss.
dark lord said:Sorry about the bad photo's Jay my camera isn't that good I'll try and get a better one and send it to you if i can.It is definitely pure black just like a Lando palace blaster and if you hold it to the light it has no translucent quality to it at all it is completely solid no bend in it at all and the drop sound is the same as an original. I have had most types of repro and original imperial blasters over the years and can compare the sound difference easily on a hard surface. Doesn't anyone else have one like this? It looks just like your V5 imp blaster photo but it passes both water and drop test plus it has the same density as an original. I cant belive this is a one off home made blaster. :?

shawn_k said:Jay, I want to apologize in not replying to this thread yet. My main reason being that I still haven't taken the time to thoroughly look at everything and do some comparisons with my own weapons.
I do want to say that I think you have done a great service to the hobby by providing this information. I know that the next time I am asked about repros, I will be directing the person to your site.
Keep up the excellent work.

Just had a quick flick throught he site and gotta say it's very impressive.![]()
As a MOC collector I will not use it a great deal for collecting purposes ,but for increasing ones knowledge of the hobby it's invaluable.
A job well done mate.
Oh yeah and if you had a few more colours on your badge over on RS I'm sure it would have got a bit more recognisition over there pal.![]()
aussiejames said:"As a MOC collector I will not use it a great deal.." but you can help by confirming which weapon variations exist on which cards![]()

An ardus task i know but any MOC collectors who get 5 mintues to check a few is always appreciated.
The other thing is does anybody here collect 12 inch figures? I think Andy (Spoons) does?
