The V5 i have isn't a soft plastic its very much like an original and not brittle like most repro imperial blasters. I can't remember who i got it from or which figure it came with. It probably came with a stormtrooper figure i obtained a long time ago....

Cheers for all the kind words guys.

I spoke to the guy behind the Jawas Armory on the spanish vintage forum and he said i can PM him for any pictures he has or that i might need which i thought was really cool!

Also if anybody has a vintage related site or blog that they would like me to link just let me know.

Its hard to tell from your pictures buddy.

Is it solid black? (try holding it up to direct sunlight)

Can you send a picture to my email address ([email protected])

Preferably a full size close up and try to get it in full focus (Macro if possible) with a white background (printer paper works well).

Cheers Jay

Sorry about the bad photo's Jay my camera isn't that good I'll try and get a better one and send it to you if i can. It is definitely pure black just like a Lando palace blaster and if you hold it to the light it has no translucent quality to it at all it is completely solid no bend in it at all and the drop sound is the same as an original. I have had most types of repro and original imperial blasters over the years and can compare the sound difference easily on a hard surface. Doesn't anyone else have one like this? It looks just like your V5 imp blaster photo but it passes both water and drop test plus it has the same density as an original. I cant belive this is a one off home made blaster. :?

I can say now 1000% that it is a REPRO mate as NO Imperial Blaster is Solid Black apart from the Lily Ledy Exclusive which this weapon definitely isn't.

Ill let you know more once i see some more pictures

The weapon looks likes its made from a shinny plastic is that correct?

NO Imperial Blaster is Solid Black apart from the Lily Ledy Exclusive and the POTF issue's and this weapon definitely isn't either of them.

Im 99.9% sure its REPRO Ill let you know once i see some more pictures.

Jay, I want to apologize in not replying to this thread yet. My main reason being that I still haven't taken the time to thoroughly look at everything and do some comparisons with my own weapons.

I do want to say that I think you have done a great service to the hobby by providing this information. I know that the next time I am asked about repros, I will be directing the person to your site.

Keep up the excellent work.

Cheers Shaun its ticking along nicely and im just taking the next year or 2 to just build the content.

I just received a Repro ERG staff through the post and it passes the float test and looks very close to the Original! Im gonna take some pictures tomorrow and put them up see what people think.

Chaz was good enough to make a donation using the paypal donate button (not something i was expecting to happen!) and that money is gonna be used to buy the new REPRO Ugnaught Bag that's now one eBay.

I have also added a little vintage forum to the site of course anyone is welcome to drop in.

I had quite a few emails and have been able to help a few people out which is cool.

The other thing i did was register a new ebay i.d called imperialgunnerycom which im going to use to sell C9 - C9+ condition figures as well all 99p starts :p

Hi All

I just received a copy of the New ERG Force Pike REPRO that's been sold on eBay through the post and have manage to take some better pictures than the ones used in the auctions to add to T.I.G.

The REPRO is flexible (not brittle) like an Original and passes the float test.

Ill post a picture today.

Jay,

Just had a quick flick throught he site and gotta say it's very impressive. :)

As a MOC collector I will not use it a great deal for collecting purposes ,but for increasing ones knowledge of the hobby it's invaluable.

A job well done mate.

Oh yeah and if you had a few more colours on your badge over on RS I'm sure it would have got a bit more recognisition over there pal. :)

"As a MOC collector I will not use it a great deal.." but you can help by confirming which weapon variations exist on which cards :)

James is right where possible we are trying to confirmed which specific weapon varaint was release with which figure / card etc.

An ardus task i know but any MOC collectors who get 5 mintues to check a few is always appreciated.

The other thing is does anybody here collect 12 inch figures? I think Andy (Spoons) does?
