The Yak Face / Barada / Nikto weapon is usually easy to spot. There are good photos on the Imperial Gunnery website to help you out. I have circled the visual identifier for confirming whether this is an original or Repro.

As others have said always ask for the seller to confirm they are original. If they don't reply don't bid. Also with the wave of new floating Repro it's not good enough for them to say it's passed the float test. You will need to get them to provide clear close up photos to help confirm originality.

Thanks man. The opened case made the seller replied. He is a complete jerk and a liar. Somehow he managed to keep a 100% positive feedback, but a lot of French collectors don't speak English and I would assume are unaware of very good plastic fakes.

The figure was described as being Klaatu complete vintage original and not even Nikto . Once again it was too good to be true, but lessons learned I'm basically done with EBay.
