Hi all
I have a couple of baggie related questions I hope some of you may be able to help out with, I will do a post for each question though for clarity.
Right I have a couple of baggies that I have been informed are SW-b baggies by some collectors & one of these is even on the SWCA guide as a SW-b, on the Fett baggie version photo below -
Now I questioned this when I first bought a baggies Pin Head as a SW-b at the end of last year from a member on RS & I had it confirmed by a couple of other collectors as indeed being a SW-b Kenner issued baggie, when i got it in hand I checked the heat seals as legit & thought nothing more of it till recently when posting the guide & Scott kindly pointed it back out to me - the fact that the print/font type on the baggie does not match other SW-b type Kenner issued baggies, which was the point that made me question it being kenner when I purchased it.
This is the baggie in question -
As you can see from the Large head han below the font/text is clearly different -
I have checked every other SW-b baggie that I own (11 of them) for comparison & all bar 2 others have the same font as the large head Han Solo, plus the fact that they have different heat seals to the pin head & are mare of slightly thicker plastic.
Now check out the below (Confirmed Ex employee) palitoy-d baggies for comparison -
The only other examples I have seen that would sway my disision are the one below which I feel "may" also not be Kenner & the fett as shown on the SWCA fett comparison shot above -
Any thoughts greatly appreciated as this one is hurting my head a bit
