Sorry  good luck with the sale mate

Altho i agree this post has no business being on this forum, i am always baffled that sci-fi fans (Star Wars or other) can not be in to Star Trek, at least in some part. Next Generation and Voyager were both fantastic shows. I've personally not seen better sci-fi on tv.

I admit to loving the classic Star Trek series and having the Enterprise playset and Mego figures when I was a young one.................so in a way I like star trek.

Agreed

Original ST series I watched as a kid and loved it, very cheesy now but at the time a great watch.
Never really bothered with next gen etc.
Never thought of collecting ST, but no problem with people who do...

Shatner was great and Nimoy, but then again I used to watch Mork & Mindy as well

SW is a different ball game for me though...ground breaking films, not a tv series.

Each to his own

you see i got into the new enterprise if anyones seen it?
It aint that bad tbh. but yea sorry for the post.

Not a Star Trek fan, but I have so much respect for its commitment to scientific promotion and its constant questioning of poor social norms.

i liked voyager and next generation and films except insurection that was crap

i liked the borg and q character

Loved the BORG, absolutely superb invention (although they did dwell on the Locutus a little too much) and I wish they had continued more with that. Star Trek the original series is something I grew up with (obviously the re-runs on BBC2), and then the Next generation which at times was brilliant, other times a little too silly. Deep space nine took about three seasons to get half decent, Voyager was good until the end, which was a wishy washy cop out - enterprise was getting really good, then they canned it. I even enjoyed the original animated series.

Films, loved 1-4, 5 and 6 were poor, 7 was bearable, 8 first contact brilliant, 9 not that bad actually.. 10 the reboot superb and 11 I really liked although hard core trek fans hated it.

I alway enjoyed using a flip lid phone years ago pretending i was Kirk..
