Just wanted to share this idea.
Many star wars fans would love 4K remasters/AI upscaling of clone wars, rebels, all the old star wars games, and so on, but this would be very time consuming.
Disney could instead make a "distributed computing" project, where fans could contribute their idle contribute power to help calculating all this data, adding a sense of fan community.
I made a previous post about how this method has been, and is still being used, for science for decades, so it wouldn't be out there to imagine this, and even taking it further, remastering all sorts of old video and gaming data, since private users have never had access to more compute power than now.
What do you think about this idea?
