I'm in the throes of starting a modest Biker Scout focus. Just a few mint loose figures & a tasty boxed Speeder Bike at present, but I'm into it. Not sure I'd go down the army-building route, but it always looks undeniably impressive.

If I was going to re-start a focus (and this is not me saying I will - or at least not now ) I think I would pick a figure that had a little less focus than the main characters.

There would be a few things I would consider:

1. I would like it to have been released on a SW card purely so that I could show the figure MOC from all 3 films.
2. Item availability - would want to collect it all............................
3. Price of items

I am sure there would be a few other factors but not thinking about it just yet...

If you like the Fett, then go for it Jonny! I know the Palitoy Fett's are hard to come by but there are some many different variations then it is one of the most comprehensive focuses you could have!

Doesnt crealkilla (I think thats his username) on here collect fetts as well. Its hard chosing a focus figure. I couldnt even tell you how or why I chose Yoda as my focus figure. You've got to look at how many different things there are to collect for a particular figure I think. There's no point doing a focus if that figure only has 2 or 3 varients. But saying that, its your choice. Fett is a good choice I think.

Focusing on one figure has never really interested me (yet).
I love showcasing a great range of vintage figures and ships, with a small foreign section to boot.
The one figure who I think would make a great focus as he was there right from the first 20 would be Luke X Wing, he was the saviour of A New Hope and wore the same outfit in Empire and Jedi.
In short, Luke X Wing is the balls.

Edit: I guess the same could be said for Chewbacca, Vader, Tie Fighter Pilot, C3PO, R2 and Stormtrooper. Although TFP isn't on a SW card (I think). R2 gives the most variation of a focus.

If I was starting a focus then it would be down to my favourite scene from the trilogy: HOTH!!!!!

For me Luke,Han and Imperial Stormtrooper in Hoth Battle Gear has to be my all time favourite. And rather than looking to collect each cardback, or offer/offerless I would look to have each one on a different logo.

As for Boba has to be up there with Vader for focus, cost for both and especially Boba will be mucho ££££££, and with some very big private collectors already owning some of the rarest and "One off" figures/items it would be damn hard to compete.

However I have a way bit to go to complete my own goal of each figure on their movie debut card, and where possible debut cardback. After that probs be upgrading then maybe maybe onto a focus.

Just my two pence on what I would do.

I thought a focus was supposed to have everything ever made to do with Boba Fett, ie helmets, lunchboxes, keyrings you name it. This guy's barely scratched the surface!

Actually looking at that has put me off, too big an undertaking. Quite fancy switching over to a tie fighter pilot focus instead then, surely that's a quarter of the size?
