Scotland is terrible. Everything has almost stopped due to heavy snow and packed ice. Cant wait until Summer.

Yeah airport was shut for a few days. Also all roads in to and out off inverness where blocked with snow. Yeah it was -21 in a place called altnaharra. Colder than a freezer and colder than the south pole. Said on the news the coldest temperature ever recorded was -27

Yeah...I heard some parts of the UK have ran out of salt for the roads......Better bust out the snowmobiles. :lol: :wink: Oh it is currently 13 degrees F over here and I have half a foot of snow.

Its another snow day for me!

we are meant to have ofsted in today and tomorrow, normally I would be happy for a snow day but I worked proper hard planning and marking to be ready for them.....seems like a waste of time now!

We've had 50+ days without rain and it's going to be 42C on Sunday. We used to have 'hot' days at school if there was going to be a third day above 100F.

Back to normal here, the snow melted on Sunday night and since then it's been ball freezing and done nothing but rain. Good old Norn Iron summer weather, and it's only January!
