i i know a couple of members here might not think that who are owed still but the majority of those rs'ers seem to be pussies..... I wouldnt ****ing wait all this time

My small claim would have been finished long long ago.

and winner of the most random post in a thread for this week goes to Lee Gray  It was a good link though

Back on the Billyboy thing but apparently he now has terminal cancer and people who are owed have been told to 'act accordingly' by his in-law (I think) Rik. Is this something else to throw people off the scent or is it true (which would clearly be very bad news despite his recent sw related history). I don't think people know what to believe or do anymore :|

You're not wrong  - wish I hadn't opened it in a crowded office though

This is part of the problem, people just don't know what to do or think anymore. The South American Pablo (weeba weeba) is also apparently dead when people started wondering where there stuff and/or cash is.

Check out this story of an ebay fraudster who faked his own death Internet auction fraudster jailed

The Bill McBride thread started by Sisefromm is also a perfect example of how people are just taking the piss and buyers are getting frustrated and venting. Two ****ing years with no resolution on a 2K deal, just what is all that about? No wonder sisefromm went public :?

I was pissed off enough about having $400 tied up for a week through a flake RS "in crowd" seller..............

Being a natural born cynic, I would very much doubt Billyboys latest story. Regardless, does that some how exempt him from having to make good on the various deals? Yes, people should (assuming his story is true) realise that it may take a while longer and tone down the language/rhetoric, but, the guy is still liable for all the deals/trades he has not fulfilled! Hard hearted possibly, but true none the less!

As for BillMcBride, from what I have read I don't think he has tried to send the items at all. If he had it would not be difficult for him to provide a copy of any of the customs forms, even send it to a 'third-party' like Shane. I don't know the guy at all, but he certainly seems to have a good reputation, yet I struggle to understand why this mess has continued for so long IF he has acted in a genuine/straight up manner!

I honestly believe that some of these guys have an ego problem which gets in the way of good customer service sometimes. Its almost a case of that guy is a nobody so he can wait. Bill McBride's attitude in that thread stinks and he's openly inviting criticism from 'trolls'. All Aussies clearly owe him their lives for his Toltoys discovery which was most charitable of him, but he doesn't like to talk about it

Come..they dont have ego's or big heads over there do they????

there are certsainly a few members with dillusions of grandier or however you spell it and certainly a rule for one and another for others over there

as for waitiing that is a no no for me. I post my parcels the same day if I can or the next for sure if paid so 3 weeks is going over the distance for me and thats even from america. I continue to badger people if my items have not arrived but not in an annoying way, just suttle hints like asking when i can expect the parcel so i know when I might need to be in and so forth... one guy never sent my item for over two weeks with no contact in the states and I got his number through ebay and phoned him... he then came out with some sob story that a relative had died so not posted it as yet... whether its true or not who knows but I got my parcel the following week

**** would I wait for over two years I expect if I knew I was defo scammed then I dont know what I wouyld do but would certainly know that for a fact within two months not two years

........and me. Once the deal is done get the freakin thing in the post. Why hang on to it, for not just a couple of weeks, but for months   or even years    madness :|

I don't know whether it is US/UK cultural thing?

I started a trade with US collector for modern items last June. I'm STILL waiting for my items, I message every now and again and I'm sure he will eventually come through and no doubt he will put a couple of extras in there to compensate somewhat. Most of the items have been sitting in his house since October?! I've done more than 10 trades with him, so have no doubt he will come through. However, this will be the last time.

It does seem to be mainly restricted to US collectors/sellers though. I can't think of ever having to give any European or Aussie collector the hurry up. I don't particulalry, want to have to get to the situation where if I'm dealing with a US seller I have to say, if it isn't posted by this date then the deal is off and I want all my money back, but conditions like this may be a way forward.

Anybody want to let me have an unsecured loan of $2k for the next 2 years?

(and if any of you ****ing moan about it, I once submitted an entry to the John Kellerman Matrices, so before publicly demanding your money back you better have some pretty solid Star Wars Community Collecting Credentials For Advancements to the Hobby you freakin whack-a-moles  )

lol

I am from the US and I do not hold onto things I have sold...I usually post the next day. I have however, had major difficulties with my American counterparts taking weeks to post an item. Once I purchased two items one from an American seller and One from The UK at the same time, The US one arrived two weeks after the UK item. (Not to beat on my own country :) )
