Rocket Firing Boba

Has anyone got the special offer mail-away Boba cast from the vintage figure with firing Rocket yet...

I wouldn't normally bother with the "new vintage" stuff but this Fett is a must for me. Around £50 atm, which considering you have to buy five other figures for the PoP is not horrendous.

I've seen a few of these on ebay. They look very cool but most are a little bit dear at the moment.

I haven't heard of anyone receiving any in the mail yet. I know at CV if you bought a case of figures you got one or maybe a couple with it, so that's where some of the ones on ebay are coming from.

I've sent for 2 of them. My checks were cashed a couple weeks ago, but like you said, I expect another month or so.

I haven't heard about the UK. I know in Aussie you can just buy them at TRU. You might have to spend a certain amount or something like that.

I have a local collecting friend that collects modern and he gave me some POPs, so I lucked out that way. In the past though you can usually pick up the POPs and form for under $10 on ebay which is a lot cheaper than buying figures.

If there isn't a UK option, than I would be willing to send off for a few for you guys at the cost of getting the POPs, the roughly $8 for the figure + shipping.

I heard someone used POTF2 POPs and they still cashed his check, but please Stu no vintage. :lol:

Yep you spend $Aus75" and get boba free at TRU. Some guys have been lucky to buy it by itself for $17.99 the price of the new release figures. They are on ausebay for $60.

Are they identical to the orignal Fetts as they look so?

The rocket is different & I think the figure slightly a different size as well.

Here's a pic from the RS showing them. The modern vintage fett is in the middle. He appears to be taller and a bit thinner. I guess Boba went on a diet. lol I haven't seen confirmation, but I would also guess he'd have a new copyright like the '95 classic 4 figures pack did.

From an aussieforum, it also happens to be my local TRU. I went down there but they wouldn't sell it without me spending $75.

Sorry all, but I am another lucky bugger to find the Fett today for just 1 cent!

I went to my local TRU just to see what new stock they were putting out for next week (cos it's not like I'm not missing anything so far) and there was a whole box of Fetts sitting on the shelf. It had been opened and two white mailer boxes had been taken out. One had even been opened and the carded Fett was sitting on the shelf. Note: mailer box doesn't have a barcode. Figure cardback does. It rang up on the price checker as 1 cent! So I grabbed a Legends battle droid 2-pack, paid my $18.00 to a checkout chick who didn't even blink at a figure ringing up as 1 cent....and a home I skipped.

Comparison shot with vintage Fett - I thought this new one would be from the same mold as the vintage but with a modified backpack, but you can see below it's actually taller and has been resculpted a fair bit:

Yes, but the challenge is to find 2 rocket Fetts for 1 cent. (one more for you & one for me) I'll even pay for yours
