Thanks mate for sharing your slave 1 in the thread (y) I really like how you display it and how you use lego to display the carbonite so we better can see solo in it. Funny that there was not a little display part in the box from kenner since we see him on display at jabba :)

thanks for sharing the pictures of the stand, so we can see how you made it (y) have you thought about placeing a few grey lego tiles on the front of the legs so you can't see the lego name ?

Good call, will delve into my spares box 👍

Here's my example, Jeremy signed it for me when he was in Swindon around 2005. I was chuffed at the time but when I heard others talking about the damage signatures do to the boxes started to have second thoughts. However now I'm a bit older and give less ***** I'm glad I did get it signed. It reminds me of a great day out and a rare chance to meet him, especially now he's gone.

OK, the loose ship is from my childhood. It had a few bits missing so it's been pieced back to complete over the years. The 2 Bobas with it are...... on the left,my original childhood Fett and on the right, my cousin's original childhood Fett.

The boxed one I picked up a couple of years ago - apologies for the crap picture of that but it's in a tricky place to get at and forms a lower brick in a wall of boxed stuff 😂

A lovely example, and a great memory and story to go with it!

Thanks for sharing :)

The importen thing is that you are happy with it, it is your box and you can do everything you want with it. Great memories are importen so I think it is great that you now have this signed box that always can remind your about that special day with Jeremy Bulloch, thanks for sharing it and the story (y) and it is still a nice esb palitoy box

Thanks for sharing your collection (y)

nice childhood slave 1, great to see it is complete again. I did the same with my y-wing from my childhood, it also needed a few new parts (y) the bobas from your childhood and your cousin looks great with your slave 1, I guess your cousin do not collect star wars ?

Great to see another ESB palitoy slave 1 box here in the thread, it looks like it is in great condition

Bought mine from a comic shop in Cheltenham in around 1994. Think it was around £5 and was only missing the carbonite. However, there was a nice surprise in the back when I got it home... a minty Boba.

I later bought the carbonite on here (from Jez, I think) and also the box for around £15.

Thanks Lars, me and my cousin would play Star Wars for hours at my Nan's house when we were kids. We had a nice mix of toys between us without too much overlap. I had the Falcon, X-Wing, Slave 1, he had the AT-AT, Snowspeeder and Rebel transport and we had a bunch of different figures and mini rigs that eachother didn't have. He's not interested in Star Wars collecting though, and didn't really look after his toys as much as I did to be honest 😁 I found a small bunch of his figures and his totally mashed Snowspeeder under my Nan's stairs in the late 90s and offered them to him but he wasn't interested so I salvaged them so I have a couple of his figures in my loose run and I now have an AT-AT standing on his mashed Snowspeeder 🤣
