Jason,

50/50 for rebel commander and bsg white for Clipper and GM. Fair enough as far we don't have any further information.

I would do the same for ESB Bossk, 50/50 Palitoy and GM. Toni has the GM Bossk since long.

I did not know about the non-existence of ROTJ Tie Fighter Pilot on 65 back Palitoy.
So keep this as GM. There were only 6 on the list and this is probably the reason why they were
not listed on Toni's web-site. He could have easily sold this low number to people
he offered them directly (not to me ;) )

When you post the update I think this can then also go to the summary thread.

Wolfgang

So it looks like clipper/german for rebel commander and bsg white are a mixture of the two? I'll split them 50/50 for now?

Is the same true for ESB Chewbacca? I think maybe we should assume a 50/50 split between Palitoy and German?

Also, are there any Bossk German?

There are no known ROTJ Tie Fighter Pilot on 65 back for Palitoy, which made me think they must be German? Unless some of the ROTJ are trilogo? (dont really want to go there!)

Awaiting your reply!

cheers Jason

No, but you are a very naughty boy.

Ok,

I have had a conversation with a family friend who is a high court judge.

His advice is that the police may not take this seriously as it is fraud based on action figures. However, the police would take it seriously if the allegation was referenced by a number of collectors and dealers at the same time.

If all the evidence was correlated into an easy to understand document with all the information and then referred by a group of individuals the case could be taken up.

I know that some of you on SWFUK, TIG and RS have a lot invested in these cards and the case could have more impact from yourselves. Or in fact the grading companies.

Plus the case would have to take into account that these MOCs, if fake where sold internationally which also brings in other perspectives.

It would also be a good idea that if this option was to go ahead- then details of what's happening and by whom should stay off the threads.

Please understand I'm not trying to instigate any thing here. I just wanted that information out there.

i have offer this before but will repeat again.

i have the list of cards and figures that i will keep safe

i have the early carded figures that was bought from Toni , ( which i will also point out that the hammer head has a very odd bubble maybe from the box of bubbles that Arthur felt could not be used ?

i am happy to give a written statement of what i witnessed , Mark Woollard i think is also happy to also give a statement about what he remembers from that time.

i can provide a list of names of traders from back then that should also corroborate these facts some do not go on the net and others do not want to get involved in drama on the net but would stand up and say soothing if it went further

i would also allow my figures to be opened for the court and fingerprinted testing, i have been asked this via a privet email and i have agreed to help in this way

i am also happy to help in anyway to get this matter closed and to stop more collectors getting cough out.

I've been lurking on this site for about a year (I check it out at least 10 times a day), posted only a few times and bought some MOCs off a few people. Was always meaning to properly intro myself but I was worried that I'd struggle to properly commit to two forums.

I have noticed that there seems to be a pretty strong anti-RS sentiment here and I always wondered why. I don't hear the vice versa on RS. There definitely are a few dramas between members over there but personally I've made some collecting mates and a lot of the guys, even the very experienced ones, there have gone out of their way to help me. I just try to ignore the f*ckwits. You get them everywhere. I can't though comment on all of your situations, everyone experiences things differently and we are all treated differently unfortunately.

I do enjoy reading the banter here though and you blokes all seem to really respect each other (well mostly!) and have a lot of fun. I hope this drama can bring all the forums closer and the past can be left behind. Jesus I sound like a Mills and Boon novel.

Hi Christian,

Welcome to SWFUK. It's really been covered many times and this thread isn't for it. If we want to move on it's time to forget the past and look ahead.
By all means pm if you want specifics.

ooooh bitchy!

on a more serious note though where do the collecting community go now, is it up to a few to take some sort of legal action or is this just going to fall by the wayside and eventually be forgotten about?

At a minimum, it seems worthwhile to me to try to come up with a way to identify suspect ones, for future reference. I have been trying to see if anyone out there (other than Kevin_Lentz) has a 65-back palitoy hoth trooper that they know is legit. If we can find enough of those, we can determine if the little black smudge to the right of the rotj logo on those cards can be used to identify the batch of cardbacks used to make at least some of these.

Anyone else have a 65-back palitoy hoth trooper that they confirm is legit (because they have had it since the 80s, or some other good reason)? It doesn't need to have the bubble still attached.

I've had that in mind from the beginning. You go to the police without a VERY detailed and easy to understand version of events and this will go right to bottom of the pile. It needs a panel of experts who are willing to state their case otherwise you will find the police or Trading Standards looking at you very blankly.

It all seems to have been said on here. Needs slotting together now.

Unbelievable thread. Packed in trying to keep up days ago :|
