DV TIE FIghter!

I've opened the cockpit of a BD Tie to replace the cockpit chair. Be sure to flip it over before you seperate the two halves. Then _carefully_ seperate them. Else the spring mechanism for the wings will go bye bye.

Yes, else it will fall out. Happened to me, but was able to fix it. Took me a long time though.

The glass and chair are also a bit of a pain to put right again.

I was able to fix my A-Wing thanks to your walkthrough. Mine had the same problem as yours had. Thank you.

no worries mate, glad it was useful.

I have just bought some stronger plastic glue that "melts" the two ends together so will try that later on today if I get the chance.
