Well as some of you have noticed I've been lurking for a bit on here and being quiet. After some horrendous considerations I've come to the decision to sell my ree yees collection. Believe me a very hard decision to make. Now I know pricing at the moment is all over the place, I was wondering if I'm best trying to sell the whole lot as a bulk buy or separately, and how much pieces are worth. Most of you know the pieces so any help would be much appreciated, particularly on the two packs, foreign cards and factory errors...

Ah **** :(

Well if you have to mate then you have to but sad to see you sell up. I would strongly advise you don't sell it as a lot, you'd lose a chunk of cash that way and it's not going to be easy to find someone who will take them all unless they are going to flip them (so they'd likely low ball you to pick the lot up cheap)

I don't think you overpaid on much, which is good so if you still know the prices you paid (even roughly) I'd list them all individually with a small mark up (If something cost you £30, list it at £40, if something cost you £100, list it at £120 etc) and if they don't sell then drop down to your cost price.

All the best Mark, **** times = **** decisions! Hope better times are ahead mate!

Thanks Joe, believe me it wasn't easy to come to he decision and it's going to be really tough to let pieces go as it is the highlight of my Star Wars things but a lot of cash tied up with it that is needed for the future unfortunately

Gutted for you Mark, I've loved watching this focus come together for you, I really do hope your making the right decision seeing it all as it will be hard to put back together in future, I do hope you get a good price for everything & that it helps in whatever you need the funds for.

Keep me in mind for the LL baggie, should you split it up please.

I say sell your Kubricks, modern stuff and books - then your car..then think about the focus

Lol Joe! To be honest most if it is having to go to make room for other things.... Frunkstar you'll get first dibs on that dude... And I've gone over this again and again, very worried about the rarer stuff

Shame to see you're selling up, it's a smashing focus. As others have said by far best to sell separately, they'll be no shortage of buyers I'm sure.

What Joe said & if that don't bring enough in you can always porn the family

It must be a right wrenching feeling, I dread the thought of having to sell my baggie collection some day, but fingers crossed thats a long way off if ever as I doubt I would get half of it back now the prices are going through the roof on everything & thanks Mark appreciated, you know he would be going to a home where he'd be loved & appreciated :)

To be honest dude that's half the thing, I don't think I could put the collection in the kind of place it is now so it's making sure it's loved in the right hands... It is very wrenching, never thought I'd sell up in a million years! And thanks Benny... The things price wise I'm really unsure on are the vader 2 pack and the pbp carded I have, so any ideas guys would be really appreciated... With the price increases things I thought I knew are out the window!

Gutted matey, such a quality collection.

Double packs maybe £180 to start. A while back I'd have snapped your hands off for them, not something I collect anymore.

Though like a vulture... Do you have a kubrick general veers figure?

Rich

Hey Mark, really tough decision, but you have obviously thought this through and come to the conclusion that you have.
As you say the rarer items should go to good homes, and there is always the future to begin this focus again, or even a different focus.
Keeping grounded and things in perspective is a very hard thing to do, but the right thing mate.

Genuinely hope things work out, fate has a way of closing one door to open another.

The very best of luck bud :D

one of my fav focus collection is your ree yees, and boks gguard focus!

shame your selling up :( ! you should keep couple of mocs at least to remember the fun and thrill of the focus chase

good luck with your sales dito what jo said sell individually you'll get more money back from your investment

"don't bring enough in you can always porn the family  "

PORN the family. If his mrs is a hottie, then this might be the way to go.

Selling separately may be the most time consuming but will without doubt get you the most money.

Awesome collection. Shame there's not another way. I'm sure many will be interested.

I'd be interested in the miscards, or any foreign stickered mocs.

Good luck, whatever you choose.

I always liked your collection and its a shame if you sell.
But...
If you do end up selling, id love to buy the vader 2 pack,
I missed out last time, maybe I can get it this time.

Gutted to see you having to sell such an awesome collection mate! But I suppose when needs must! The best of luck. I too wouldnt recommend you to sell in bulk

Thanks for all the well wishes guys... Definitely will be keeping one or two and I hope somewhere down the line to pick things back up... Michael thanks for the kind words, you seem to be a master of them!

No general veers dude, never could get it cheap enough!

It's one hell of a focus! so sad to see it split up, best take lots of pictures before you break up the band and build a Ree-Yees reference website!
