The auction finish 4 days ago so I hope its safe to post now :)

Just wondering if anybody from here bagged them?

I went to view them a day before the auction. I studied lots 758 and 759 and something didnt feel right. The quality looked wrong. They were very brittle and the cardback photos looked wrong IMO :? I therefore decided not to study the other lots. I think that they were purposely damaged to make them appar older that what they actually are.

I am just wondering what everyones opinion is on these??

Do anyone know what they went for?

Look forward to your replies :)

Some nice MOCs there - especially that first couple of Trilogo lots

Would be interested to see what these sold for

Heard about these and I would say they are fine although apparently the staff at the auction house were heavy handed with these and may have contributed to the damage..

Got to say they look battered!!

If you look at the palitoy set they appear to have been chucked in a box!

The first set is a good set but taking condition into account I don't think it's anywhere near £1000 maybe £450 or worse if those bubbles split or lift!!

Wow Liam - looking at the realised prices in your first link some of these lots went pretty high IMHO especially if you remember to add 22% for commission + VAT. I had a punt on a couple of these but have yet to receive confirmation that either my bids were registered and if so if I won or not?!?!

Also, just having a closer look at some of the Trilogos I've noticed some unusual bubbles especially in LOT 762 - Han Carbonite & R5-D4?

Any thoughts chaps?

Cheers,
Christian

Not surprised to hear that.

The auction house are very slow in giving you detailed pictures of lots or telling you whether you whether you were successful or not. It can get quite frustrating!!

Certainly not the best out there in that respect!

Are you in the same boat Liam - did you have a punt on any of them? I've just found out I 'won' LOT 762. I think I've overpaid but I've never seen another R5-D4 with that bubble and only ever seen 1 other Han Carbonite similiar. Time will tell - better pictures to follow.

Cheers,
Christian

Will you sell the Stormie Christian?? :p

Jorn my friend - you don't like Stormtroopers do you????

TBH I have to part with most of this lot otherwise the Mrs will go nuts (again) as my OCD hoarding mentality is rapidly rearing it's ugly head again.

Sell some - keep some (always the way).

Don't like them mate, love them, they give me the tingles..... :p

I can relate to the OCD, so I'm going slow now...(at least I think I do... :p )

Be interested to see pictures of these when they arrive in. Looking at the lot, providing there is no cracks or lifting then I would think you'd be close to getting your money back - and if the bubbles are a bit different then you could be onto something a bit rarer

I would have probably bought all of the Trilogos for the prices they sold for - even with commission on top - there seem to be quite a lot of people out there collecting these at the moment

I'd say you did alright Christian. I'd value these at-
(all prices depending on condition)

Han Carb - £80-120
Han Bespin - £100ish
Amanaman - £150-200 (these are hard to value. They don't come up as much as they used to so hard to say what people are willing to fork out right now)
Imp Dig - £60-70
Stormtrooper - £60-70
Gunner - £80-120
Sand Person - £70-90
Imperial Commander - £50-60
Lumat - £50-60
Weequay - £25-30
R5 - £60-70 (the bubble may change things)
A-Wing - £80-100

That's £865 on the low end of my estimates. But these are real guesstimates. You may want one or two others to chime in to tighten these prices up. Trilogos fluctuate so much and i haven't bought one in over a year.
