I get that you don't like Spurs, but please don't let that cloud your judgement of a truly great goal.
Ehhh, I quite like Spurs!
Well, I did until they appointed Jose but they are the ones who will suffer for that appointment.
There are only two teams in the PL I don't like. As a Liverpool fan, one of them should be pretty bloody obvious, the latter is the original rich man's play thing, who have employed a certain arsehole (discussed above) twice as well as other lovely people like JT, Ashley Cole and Drogba. Ohh and their fans have a bit of a sense of entitlement (granted that isn't unique to them) and a more than slight racist streak. Other than that, I like/don't mind every other club in the PL.
As far as Son's goal goes. It's definitely a good goal, I said that, I just don't think it's quite goal of the season. He runs in a straight line, two Burnley players shadow him and are about to tackle him when he realises he has no pass on and just starts to sprint. He leaves them for dead, then knocks it past Ben Mee (possibly) and then is in on goal. For me a 40 yard screamer in to the top corner A La Coutinho or the goal machine that was Vincent Kompany is a much better goal than just running very fast straight towards the other teams goal while they all faff about and decide to get a yellow for bringing you down. Nothing against Son, or Spuds. I just think his goal was made a lot easier by woeful defending.
