Ok, change of theme, and this one isn't a wind up. The worst ever Utd 11 and you can only pick players who played regularly, so some random who played 3 games over two years isn't allowed.

Again sensible formations.

It's actually trickier than I thought. There are so many who you could fit in, Veron and DiMaria were both quality players but shite at Utd. Sanchez was probably the worst ever PL signing but that was because of the wages they paid him as much as anything. Defenders is tricky as. I could do two teams of keepers, midfielders and strikers but defenders, I can barely think of three.

Veron was better than Gerard most of the time, at least he won the league! I'll have to think about this one, there was a French centre half who played 1 match in the 90's and no way David May he was quality back up. Agree with the keeper, Jones and surely some more recent players? :?

Midfielders, Jemba Jemba, Fellani and yeah kleberson.

There are people like prunier and butner but both barely played.
Tiz tricky trying to remember shite players cos by definition they tend not to play too often.

Phil Neville was a bit Ropey at times, but he could play about 8 positions reasonably well so he cuts get a lot of slack. O'shea was a bit meh as well, but had a few good games.

P.Neveille had some qaulity games, I remember the Arsenal game where we had all our midfielders out and Fergie picked 8 defenders and we won 2-0 with Neville playing as the holding center midfielder and I remember him scoreing in a 1-0 win ar Stamford Bridge. Oshea was good, just had a lot of top quality players in his position.

TBF, Reina is close in nets, I always rated Rob Jones as a RB, Barnsey was past his peak when PL started, Carragher is close at CB along with Gomes. Up front, I went for those three as they play so well as a trio. I would be equally happy with Torres, Suarez and Fowler.

Platt is a good shout but he only really had one decent season I think?

Was he? I genuinely had no clue.

As for Platt, he was solid in early 90's at start of PL. Probably past his best by about 98.

We bought him from Sampdoria the year before Wenger arrived, he played one season under Wenger and sat on the bench for the next one. As you say his best days were probably 90-95/6
