I think LVG's day's are numberd to be honest, today he's said the expectations are high at the club.

I think you might be right, but rumours of the Board offering him a contract extension would worry me, if I was a Utd fan.

 Coming from a Liverpool supporter must be a joke.  :x  and every other emosion.

Well I know Utd are a shadow of their former selves, but what a result for Bournemouth. I lived there for 20 years and saw them play quite a lot in the mid 90s, and they were barely a professional club at the time. To get to the PL and beat Chelsea and Utd in a week is pretty incredible stuff, despite both being in poor form.

So with today's results in mind my money over the next two days is on Arsenal beating Villa (obviously), Newcastle having a shock win over Spurs, and then Chelsea finally finding form and beating Leicester on Monday. Because let's face it, when do results ever not go Arsene's way. In fact I might put a bet on it just so I don't feel so bad when the inevitable happens

Man Utd were bad tonight, but full credit to Bournemouth fantastic performance from them. Only 3 wins from Man Utd in the last 12 games in all competitions.

I can't beleive Villa have only got 6 points, their gone in my opinion. Think Arsenal will batter them and the Chelseas Leicester game could be any score, if Leicester win I'm putting some money on them winning the league or a top 4 finish.

Nah, the rumour bit was serious. I have heard that. It makes no sense to me, but sure.

Ohh and i may be a Liverpool fan and a self comfessed ABU, but i can still be dispassionate about football. I'm not "one of those" Liverpool fans.

Fantastic result for Bournemouth. I remember Liverpool playing them last year(or maybe the year before) and being really impressed by them. They do play some nice football. I'd love to see them stay up, especially given the luck they have had with injuries. Sadly, I can't see it happening, but i hope they do.

Ohh and yeah, Villa are absymal and gone.

Well bang on so far, should have put that bet on. I knew that first goal was going in as soon as Rose handballed it. I've lost count of the amount of times he has single handedly blown it for Spurs.

I can't believe Spurs. Newcastle beating Liverpool and Spurs back to back is a turn around and a half as well. Newcastle better starting loosing soon or Steve Mcclaren will be in line for the Man Utd job.

I stopped watching the Arsenal game at 0-2, can't believe it finished at that score.

Leicester at the top of the Prem again for the sixth time this season  .
Surely we will fade away at some point  .

Sky are coming out with so many stats, but I still think Spurs and Liverpool have got a better chance of finishing in the top 4. One thing is for sure Chelsea are in a massif hole, I posted a while ago theirs only one way out of this for the chosen one.

Also Leicester are probably the fittest team in the league which says a lot.

Leicester looked great this evening and thoroughly deserved the win. As for them being the fittest, I think Allbrighton and Drinkwater top the miles run stats right now - and even Morgan and Huth who were big lumps look a lot leaner

I think that if they can keep the front two fit then they will be up there - Palace looked good the other day as well - would be great if they were both in the mix come the end of the season

Not seen any stats as far as who the fittest side is, I would say Leicester will struggle to keep that up though because they have a fairly settled side and no way can 13-14 players keep up work rate like that over an entire 38 game season.

Leicester where the fittest side in the Championship when they went on there 24 game unbeaten run with many a goal being scored in the last 30 minutes.
That year the same 11 started all 24 games with Drinky, James and Vards being the best three players. All of those where missing the start of last season.
The midfield is packed with the regular 4 starters plus Dyer, Schlupp, King, Inlar, James and others so plenty of pace in the squad to last the season.
The work rate over 38 games apposed to 46 games is not an issue, the question to ask is can the form be maintained.
Definitely need another prolific striker and another boost to the defence.

The Premiership is a whole different kettle of fish to the Championship. The fitness levels and skill levels are, by default, higher. So I still think it's a massive ask for Leicester to keep it up all season. I hope they do, don't get me wrong. I guess they don't need to do it ALL season. Chelsea coasted to the title last year. After xmas they barely got out of third gear, although I wouldn't be so confident of Leicester being able to do that.

Not surprised he's been sacked. I am disappointed though. I was enjoying the wanker getting his cummupance.

Now he's been sacked by the same club twice, does that make him a specialist in failure? Lol

Who they gonna get in now? Just give John Terry the job and get it out of the way.

As a Chelsea fan I think it was the right thing to do, now don't get me wrong when
Jose first arrived just like everyone else I thought he was the dogs bollocks but the way
he has been carrying on lately is nothing short of disgraceful and has not helped the image
of the club one bit. I'm fed up with touchline bans, naming and shaming of players and of
course the whole club doctor thing.

However the way some of the players have been acting they are not much better either but
what can you do sack the whole team except Willian?

So thanks Jose but this has been a long time coming.
