I've been asked a bunch of Palitoy related questions over last week, so thought it is easier to lump them here, rather than trying to find all the separate threads etc.
Sorry for anyone who has been waiting on answers, with Farthest From - both before and after - it is always a bit mad and still having to dig out info etc

Joe, not had a chance to read the article yet, am sure it is kick-ass, will get a cup of tea and enjoy that later this week. Can only find one pic at present, you might already have it:
Also, will make you cringe, here's a nice toy dealer advert from around 1993/94, Emperor's Royal Guard for $20? YES PLEASE:
Lafos - Palitoy MiniRig MailAways
I've not seen a Speeder Bike in a white mailer, but that does not mean it does not exist. Through another product, Action Man, Palitoy pioneered a direct to consumer sales department. This allowed them to sell off excess stock that toy retailers would not take at a discount to consumers, but allowed them to actually make more money than if they had sold them to retailers. Products that had been superseded or updated were usually destined for this outlet. Also, from time to time mailshots would be sent out offering these odd's and end's, like this one for Action Man for example:
I do have a list somewhere of what I know was offered, I have had conversations with the person who was responsible for this area of the business several times and the correspondence secretary, but where they did this for Palitoy as a whole, they don't really remember any specifics to individual products.
Vectis Palitoy Figure Case
This is a good one, upon initial look 33330 does not relate to any product code or assortment breakdown:
1978 Product Codes:
1979 Product Codes:
However it might be a case assortment of just the new 20 back characters or a solid case of a 20 back character like Luke X-Wing for example. These often fell outside price lists, but were available in certain cases as seen here:
Assortment codes and what they contained changed all the time as the range expanded, this is the last of the product codes for example:
I hope that is of interest and helps, sorry it was all lumped together, good news is though that with the help of NaughtyJedi I will be creating a blog/ directory of information relating to Palitoy online (Palitoy not just Star Wars), so folk will be able to have a resource of sorts there, rather than quoting my old posts back to me
