The Action Man album is quite early- 1983 i believe. Not worth a whole lot but pretty cool. I have the Action Force album and sticker pack from 1987. That was the one i remember better. 8)

I remember the action force one Pete, I used to buy the figures at that time also 87-88 enven though I wa 15 by then! I used to display them out the packets though.

Yes 83-84 I believe, first year of comprehensive for me and there were a few of us collecting and swapping stickers every day  . The stickers are all artwork, a few different stories throughout the album. I'll get a couple of pics done soon.

Don't blame you for not wanting to part with the Panini football albums Grant, they certainly hold good memories for me... I had a look and 87 is one of the other complete ones I have, cover has been sellotaped back on but its still cool :)

Footy '86. Last year of Junior school and I was sticker mad. Those albums bring back great memories. Still have an '86 one with the foil stickers and the cartoon team nick names in the back.

Also around that time i collected the Beano stickers and also Garbage Pail Kids, which my kid sister stuck all over her door while i was at school  Still have not forgiven her for that!

I have enough Garbage Pail Kids stuff to fill a small car. ;)
Also have the Beano & Dandy album. 8)

Liking vintage MOTU stuff more and more, fantastic Snake Mountain and Grayskull there Mike.

MOTU stuff is cool,
Original MOCS go for daft money on eBay, even the 2002 runs are £40 ish
I bought 3 of these about 2 years ago in a home bargain shop for £2 each

However not any different from SW when it comes to ebay stupidity on vintage

Probably just me but I always thought He-Man and MOTU was a bit bent. All the shirts off, muscles and pants and all that ****

Agree on that,
but my lad had them as a kid, and he s on a mission to get all the stuff he had, Motu, tmnt, ghostbusters wwf, SW etc

Yeah even Skeletor and co have huge muscles etc.............why?

The female characters are more normal in proportion though and I do like Twistoid and Rotar who are slightly different to the musclebound crew.

They are cool, gotta say that - I collected them as a kid when Star Wars was fading in popularity. Had most of the early figures, with Teela and Trap Jaw being really hard to find.

Fave figure has to be Ninjor 8) Never had him as a kid being one of the last figures to be released.

Love the he man faker as well that was cool

Tytus and megator are apparently the rarest, and the laser he man and skeletor

Got to admit, I loved watching the original series when the lad was young

Not SW I know, but the figs are cool

Tytus and Megator, are proper hard to find. Released in wave 6 in 1986. Much like SW, it's the accessories and weapons which demand the money. You should be able to pick a Ninjor up for £10, but find one with his nunchucks.................

The He-man gay thing was just a front. I bet he was poking Teela!

The muscles seemed to be the trend anbd lasted a while. I think the popularity of WWF and BA from the A-team may have influenced folk

I loved trap jaw - his arm fell off xmas day 84 on mine - was this common? - will look into those rare characters :)
