Lovin those Garbage pail kids Pete, we certainly had some ****ed up toys to play with as kids.

Anyone remember these:

Picked up a bunch off a mate who no longer wanted them. They're called Wacky Plaks done by the freakin god of Mad magazine fame Jack Davis. Used to collect these as a kid from the local Milk Bar, came with a stick of gum. Not on the same level of grossness as the GPK cards but fairly politically incorrect for their day. I believe they were originally released in the 60's and made a come back in the 80's. These were one of my main inspirations to becoming a cartoonist. Love em!

I have this hardback book somewhere at home, you'd love it

Cool. Reminds me of the artwork on the cover of the Animal House movie. Do you know if the same guy did that?

Yeah I'd love to get a copy of that book, Jack Davis is a true legend and such an amazing artist in his own right, check this one out for example, Inked drawing can you believe this was actually rejected for print! It was either Jack himself not being happy with it of the editor rejecting it either way shows the man's talent.

Finally completed my carded series one Action Force collection. I've never seen a carded Australian Jungle fighter for sale before so I'm chuffed to finally have one. Thanks to the Action Force expert who helped put this collection together.

Ha ha love it, of course Aussies only fight in jungles (of which we have none).

I wonder if they had an Australian Convict version? It could come with such accessories as leg Irons, an uncanny ability to beat everyone in sport, the loaf of bread he stole to become a convict and a huge chip on his shoulder.

Another pretty cool figure I picked up in the last few months. I love the vintage Transformers. I may focus on them in the future but there is so much repro rubbish out there. :(

Awesome Transformers figure. They were my favourite toy line as a kid. Way too expensive to collect tho. I don't think a hundred quid buys you a sealed example of anything pre-90s Transformers!

I couldn't agree with you more. I picked this up for a decent price and had it graded myself but this is the only bargain (if you could call it that!) I have ever found. I would love to have a Soundwave /Prime/Hot rod/Megatron in the future.

Out of all the toy lines of the 80's this is one of the most difficult and expensive to collect but it is one of the best.

As i am proud of my latest non SW addition and there are some MOTU fans aboard here, it might show it of here aswell.

That's fantastic stargeezer. Always wanted one of those. Not cheap tho are they?

You really need to get one, they look great.
This is an 12back and not an 8back wich are even more expensive (think off it like an 20back luke instead of an 12back luke)

But still it was not cheap, got most off my SW 12backs cheaper.
And on top of the purchase i had to pay 154 euro taxes and import duties...
Yes 154 euro that's insane. I now officially hate those ****ers at customs!

I finally finished my Series 3 carded cobra run and only need two more figures to complete Action Force Series 1, 2 & 3.

It's been grate collecting these figures, very different from Star Wars. You get few mint examples and some carded figures are so rare. When I say rare, I had never seen an AF Doc for sale before I got this one.

Time to get back to the Star Wars focus. If any one comes across a carded Flash or Snow Job give me a shout.

Since my Star Wars collecting has been a little slow recently I branched out into other area and currently I'm working my way through the Masterpiece series of Transformers. I have to say they are very good if a little pricey, the only trouble is that I now have a real urge to kick off on the G1 Transformers.

Nice Action Force Mocs Mr Kenner. Used to have all those figs.

Loving the Transformers ODB. I have always been a big fan. The originals in box are way to expensive. I bought some Hasbro reissues which themselves weren't cheap but they look amazing and are identical to the originals. They'll have to do me as i'm never gonna fork out the 100s of £s to get an original.

I had a whole heap of G1 Transformers for trade on here last year
