In the conference north, the mighty Brakes of Royal Leamington Spa were done 0-1 by Guiseley. We should have scored just before their goal, but chilton with the goal at his mercy decided to try and give Stefan Moore a tap in, but it wasn't a good ball. Not a good second half, but considering Guiseley have been a strong side for the last few years it was a decent showing.

Hednesford away tomorrow night.

We sound porous in defence - Chris Smith marked Scott Rendell on saturday he scored twice. Tonight Smith marked Dunkley erm he scored twice! :roll:

Well ive never known a start to the season like it. We had 8 players who would be in the starting 11 all injured or suspended on Tuesday night and then Aswad Thomas takes a knock and goes off! We had a full 5 youth players on the bench! Hoping to have 2 or 3 back for Saturday. Tuesday night was the usual park the bus display as Nuneaton barely got out of their half but we could not get the break thru we deserved. Andrew Boyce hitting the bar wiith a header from a corner was the nearest we came as they clung on to hack the ball clear anywhere. We should have 2 wins from 2 but instead have neither scored or conceded. 1 of them must give soon but im hopeful its the goals that fly in as our defence has lawys be rock solid. Already 4 points behind the heed but my faves for the league before it started seem to be justifying my tag, BARNET :wink:
Up next is Dover at home on Saturday. Then i goto Bolton VS Boro Tuesday night, onto Benidorm, then Levante VS Villareal on the 23rd Aug! Wonder what they will make of my shitty town shirt?lol

Another draw for us, a draw for the heed and a defeat for Alty. I really am getting cheesed off with my lot at the moment. I have already said how many 1st teamers we have out but the 11 we have out should still, after 5 ****ing years in this slavehole of a league, have the nouse to have worked out how to beat the parked bus! We have no plan b. Even when we scored yesterday it was a shot that deflected in off Pitmans arse! Yay at least Pitman and Mckreth came back and came on for last 20 minutes. Oh and if you didnt know, Dover got a penalty in injury time but McKeown, being the best keeper in the conference, saved it thank god so we share the unbeaten start with gateshead and we meet next game so somethings gotta give. We have Scott Nielsen back from his ban from Gateshead last season available Saturday so he will either have a stormer in revenge or spit his dummy out and walk again lol it's all fun buti cant be there as im off to Spain to watch Levante VS Villareal.

Yeah Frustrating start for you mate I am sure it will improve.

Well we were 200% better yesterdy. I went to the New Lawn for my first ever away game and we competed well and looked up for the battle. FGR shaded the first half but we have too giuilt edged chances to level at the beginning of the second. A ironside header where it looked easier to score and a Courtney shot which he screwed wide from a good position.

Looks like another toughie against Wrexham next time out but there is hope at least.
I heard Joe Ironside was on trial at Grimsby in Pre season. Was he any good mate? We have him for a month on loan from Sheff Utd.

He was awful mate. Just a typical youth player giving his all but getting nothing as not up to scratch i'm afraid. If you can have a word with Nicky, he wants to get hold of young Adam Hinchcliffe from Sheff Wed. Played 1 pre season game for us with another 2 trialists, centre mid, was the best player on the park, scored a 20 yard belter into the top corner. We are all thinking sign him up he looks too good for this league, come next game, he aint there but the other 2 are! Hurst later says he was too similar to what we already have! Well if its here already i aint seen it yet :lol:

Another story today of poor defending = conceding poor goals and another ****tard of a ref. We were much the better side 2nd half. Clayton really should have buried it when he hit the woodwork.

When your down everything goes against you On another day the Wrexham first goal never happens and just when you think it cant get any worse your next opponent hit a fellow promotion rival for 6!!

Hi guys did you miss me??? Just got back from Spain last night so missed just the 13 goals :lol: Was keeping upto date tho' and by all accounts the gateshead match couldve been 12-12 and the Alfreton game shouldve been 15 or 20 lol. The main thing i heard/noticed was we dropped our dithering old captain Craig Disley, we got rid of Connell who thought he was Billy big bollocks and we pressed very high up the pitch and gave the opo no time on the ball when in possesion deep! Anyhows, i'm leaving for Aldershot 8 am Saturday morning looking forward to a 0-0 :?

Well took over 4 hours each way to Aldershot and we had great support, around 400. We were well on top before the ref ruined the game for us. Pittman hit the post with a header and Lenny missed 2 1 on 1's early doors before being booked for dissent then a normal foul which you normally get 3 chances with but ref showed him a 2nd yellow for his 1st foul! From then on backs against the wall. They scored twice, we got 1 back, well deserved, and with 10 men we couldve nicked a point but was not to be. Im not worried, Welling at home Saturday then the usual 3 points against the shitty gimps at Sincil Wank. Nice to see the town players at the end come right over into the corner to us and Carl Magnay making the keep your chins up gesture, pointing yo us then upwards and pointing to the Aldershot fans and then downwards lol. It was just 1 of those days when, despite the effort, it all seems to go against you :evil:
