YAHAY!!!! Easy peasy mate :lol: 1 of the best nights of my life, only seconded to when we won at Anfield a few years back! Don't know if people realise it but Grimsby/Scunthorpe are virtually in each other's backyards. It's 20 mins up the road so loads peeps from Scunny work in GY and vice versa. I bet there were a few sickies pulled this morning from both parties for obvious reasons! I got to work at 6 this morning and i still feel drunk now, my work was all over the place but no one at work cared cos they were all buzzing still! Grimsby 3 Coalville 0 easy peasy for our reserve side which contained 6 youth players. 1 of which, Dayle Southwell, scored his 1st senior hatt trick. Could well be the next superstar replacement for Liam Hearn who is now out for the rest of the season. Also with his contract up in the summer i would like to wish him all the best as i dont think we will be seeing him again. AShame his big money move never came off when he was banging them in, I am sure he will end up back at Alty.
Right, no more league games for a while. Saturday its FA Cup 2nd round VS Northampton for a crack at the big boys in the 3rd round then next Saturday its Barnet away in the FA Trophy.

Anyhows, just beaten another league club and now we await a the big boys in the 3rd round of the fa cup. At present our form is fantastic. I genuinly believe itll go down to us and Luton for the title. Cambridge are top at the moment but they will fail like we did last year at the same stage.

We will send or reserves/youth team combo down to Barnet on Saturday for the FA Trophy and no skin off if we go out. Weve already got 3 games in hand over some teams and dont wanna be playing catchup like last season which cost us dearly. Winning breeds confidence so fingers crossed tho UTM

Great win against Northampton. Although from all accounts they look nailed on relegation fodder!

Hope you get a good draw in round 3!

As for Alfreton. Things aren't great! We have played our bogie team in Nuneaton and got beat in the league and throphy. Then yesterday we got blown away by 4 goals in a 10 minute awesome spell from Luton who look real promotion contenders!

Something similar will happen at Kiddy depending on who they draw in the cup and then its on to a few winnable games

We battered Oxford in the replay. Honestly don't know how we didn't win. Penalty was a certain though. Just hard to take.

Were going great guns at the mo mate. My lad even got an assist on our 1st goal! He was ballboy and passed the ball to Sam Hatton to take the throw in Your gaffer came across as a sound bloke last night when i watched it back this afto. Should be a good game at ours as your on a mega run aswell.

I agree. There really is no stopping the Luton and Grimsby. Kiddy are stuttering while i think cambridge wiill begin to struggle
