We have had a busy day and secured a second loan deal till the end of the season for Rowe Turner from Luton :D

He isnt a bad player, and like many of us Luton lads i feel that having that wanker Bullock managing the team messed around with players heads, and sadly LRT suffered. He had some good games last season, but his head dropped toi many times and by the time John Still arrived,it was too late.

We were goddamn awful against Chester saturday, and we still won 3-0.I think if we can get 5-6 points from Grimsby,Halifax and Dartford( all away) on our next three outings,we will win the title at Kenilworth Road against Aldershot on the 5th.

So you not coming over tonight then? I know your record is abysmal against us but i'll have a word and tell em' to go easy on yas matey :p

I'll get me coat :) Same old story for us. Dominent in possesion, plenty of pressure, game played majority in opo's half but powderpuff up top. Luton did us on the break and were ****ing good at it! I was surprised with Gray and Mpanzi to be honest. Having heard all the hype they did absolutely nothing. Luton's best player on the night was the guy photoed below altho i cant remember for the life of me what his name was!
PS Why oh why doesnt Mcnulty come up for corners? Surely he would be a huge asset in the air or does it take him that long to get back? Oh and congrats on winning the title matey. Some of your fans are absolute wankers on certain forums, infact, they have driven me to the point of detest but that doesnt hide the fact that your club been fantastic for the majority of the season.

Is that Pelly Ruddock? :?

Pretty massive run of three straight home games coming up for us! We need to aiming for 7/9 IMO

Thats Cameron Mcgeehan fella,on loan from Norwich.Pelly has been offish the past few gaems, but he is a great attacking midfielder when on form.Andre is knackered i think, and rumours are rife that Wolves are thinking of taking a punt on him in the summer. There are some twats bro,but every team has supporters like that-dony let them bother you.Im just glad we are going to be back where we belong, after the way we were treated we deserve it and stick two fingers to the FA.

Well I feel a bit of Da ja vu from the Lincoln game . Should have been ahead if the first two minutes. Flew out of the blocks and hit the croosbar, missed an open net. it was Andrai Jones I think. It was easier to score. Then we scored and should have scored again before HT. The second half was abysmal. Just sat on the 1-0 lead and got deeper and deeper. Nuneaton had chances to win it before we rallied late on and had it cleared off the line!

Our play off aspirations where dealt a huge blow. Nothing more than 3 points from our next two homes will do. Not so confident we will do it now

Big wins for you guys today! :)

Hey hey! Just got back from the weekend bender in Gloucester, a hell of a trek for us, and i was the mug driving lol took about 4 hours each way, drunk plenty of ale, fell over alot and also went to Hereford to claim a valuable 3 points :p

Here's a photo of my mate Nutty just before we scored. Goalscorer Rodders and Albanian international Andi Thanoj over the freekick 8)

Only half the man i used to be!!!

Simple for us We Must win the game today. Its not about performances now its all about results. When were leading 1-0 going in to the last twenty minutes i hope to god Nickys learned his lesson from Both the lincoln and Nuneaton games and doesnt sit back!

Well well well it appears we are doing the bizzo at the right time and steaming in to cement our play off place. Alfreton seem to have missed a trick here? At 1 point you were so far ahead of us and said youd rather have the points on board so i hope this disposes of that myth! To be fair, its just deserts for supporting Man Utd and then jumping on the bandwagon of supporting your local team when they are doing well i suppose lol
Thats 11 away wins for us so far, superb! won the last 4 away 1-0 aswell. If thats not play off promotion form i dont know what is. Woking at home on Tuesday they are on fire so should be a cracking game which will prob end 0-0.
Still hoping for Alty in the play off semis tho. Not coming over for the league game now as its on tv.
Bradders scores again i see.......your go mate :p

Hey chiffy I hope that aint referring to me mate. I have been supporting Alfreton for 6 years not just "because there suddenly do well"

Well I am still fuming from today! My God Chris Kavangh you are a disgrace to your profession.

We started poorly and never got the ball in the first 15 mins and were soon 1 down. Then we get a freekick (which never was BTW and find a great equalizer.

Thats 1-1 at HT. Then a poor pass out from Wornsop to Rowe Turner loses the ball and lunges in - pen 2-1 Welling. We then find a stylish leveller after Akinde was cheeky flicking in a Bradley wood shot.

Then the real contrevisial moment that has ruined our season. the 95 minute of 5 minutes added we get a corner and get in to the feet of Akinde who lays it off for a shot from Shaw I think. Literally 2 yards out and he smashes it goathlwards and hits the bar! it drops down cleary over the line after looking at a video reply. Everyone in the ground shouted thats a goal including the Welling player manager Jamie Day and even the welling united players on the line said it crossed the line. Every ****er except me Kavangh! It was unbeliable

It cleary crossed the line on the video. I hope Welling upload a video of the game to youtube!

Of course of Shaw should have scored!

I feel robbed and absolutely gutted

To be fair tho with only 3 shots on target all match it could be argued we didnt deserve to win but to lose out on a win in those circumstances

I won't lie. I was refering to you  I do apologise tho' i only recall you talking about Alty during this last season and thought i ofter read you mentioning them in '3rd party terms' when talking about Utd. Sorry pal i mustve got my wires crossed. Obvs supporting a **** but local team like myself, 1 thing that gets my back up is all these prem supporting armchair wankers that pay good money to travel further to watch a more succesful team when they have a local team right under their noses! I tell you if the morons in Grimsby that have supporters coaches running every weekend to Leeds, Utd, Liverpool et al actually went to watch their local team Grimsby then we would be in the prem with crowds of 20 000+ and not in this hell hole of a league :)

No worries mate no hard feelings eh but I have been chatting all things Alfreton on here for 3 years  not just because we are doing unbelaible well atm :)

Well put:)

I came to realise this long ago,and now all my money goes into Luton coffers. I have a six year old whos been a ST holder for 3 years now,and myself and my other 17 year old have been going for 5-6 years. Ive seen the rise in attendances since Luton started taking massive strides back to the league, and it pisses me off.Where were they when we were beaten my Hyde,Braintree etc last season?? and they have the nerve to try and give it large. Its not going to he a walk in the park in league 2,and if we start losing the crowds will drop off again. The really annoying thing for me is the ****ers turning up for a game at the last minute, and not knowing where they sit-or even the twats who sit in my seat, and when i ask them to move they say their ticket is that seat!! meaning i have to explain the difference between block,U/L tiers etc...

Its been a long ride in this league, and hopefully for us its over.Beat Tamworth tues, and hope Woking beat Cambridge thursday and its all over.

Grimsby and Alfreton are good teams, with good fans and i really hope their time comes.

Well after last nights horror show we are out of the play off race now IMO. Still delighted tho as its neen one hell of a season! :D We will kick on next year :)

Looking for a win at Dartford tonight and a Cambridge defeat to leave us 3 points off 2nd place pretty please!
Here's yet another photo of town players privelaged to be in the same shot as me! 8)
This time it's Tounkara in stoppage time.......
