I came home after a hard days work to see this ( c picture) on Monday.
My two children -George (4) & Sophia (2) had put to use the beaten up loose figures I've been collecting for them and an old crisp box
It's the cantina scene but not as we know it! Thought I would share it with u guys as I'm sure you would appreciate it( vintage still rules in this house!).

Nice work..
I looks like there might have been something good on the TV by the way they are all sitting there like that :D

Clearly! Look at the Wampa - he's about to clap his hands he's so entertained :)

Good work kids!

Cool photo and evan better that your kids set it up. Don't fancy getting into a drinking contest with a Wampa, bet he can down a phew pints.

Excellent, i'm collecting beaters for my boy at the moment in the hope that in a couple of years we can do exactly this sort of stuff......love it!

Superb....that my friend is what it's all about, after all we are all kids at heart when it comes to SW :D
Dad is proud as punch

That's one of the best pics I've seen in ages, great seeing them all sitting down like that, something magical about seeing our kids play with the toys we loved

Thanks for all your kind posts boys n girls! Yeh I was proud. I'm currently building a little DIY hoth planet playset sorta thing, so no doubt another picture coming soon!
By the way the film they were watch on TV ...... "Holiday special", apparently not that bad said Wampa!

Great thinking by the kids. Ive saved a few pieces my kids made me, and they are really special.

Tell them i said well done :D

I will mate. I'll post in the next week or so an update of the playset daddy is trying to make but daddy was never very good at Blue peter !
Ricky !

So George wants a Hoth planet. I managed to get him a hoth base playset ( something like that , it had some bits missing ) and collected some imperial troopers -no capes ( I'm not that flush ) , hoth rebels, Luke and a Wampa all beaters to go with it
Now he wants a Landspeeder & scout walker.
I don't want to stop this interest in everything vintage like he's daddy so I've managed to get some incomplete Landspeeders of ebay and a incomplete scout walker from a friend ( Tony aka Postman Pat) .
These he will get for Xmas but while he waits I thought I would keep this little thread updated with what I and he do .
To start with some pictures of a display I have done ( I'm no DIY Dan but I try) . Here we go anyway;- (also did it for a FB competition too so 2 insentives )
