I'm thinking I might be able to pull 1 more off this year to put me into the single digits.Even if you do just got for the cat 1 and 2 coins, they would look good in a frame. I was thinking the same thing before I got tempted to "Collect All 62!"

The Young Jedi Kit you have - is it complete or only the letter/envelope?

Thanks Uli. I'm actually thinking of thinning down some of the boxed ships soon. I like them, but they can take up a lot of space.
The Young Jedi kit has all the paperwork and I've got a bagged Chewie to go with it. The only thing I am missing is the white mailer box for it. I even have two of the letters, one with John A. Sample and another that was actually mailed. When I bought the paperwork with the actual mailed letter it also included a followup letter that would have come with the free figure.
Here is a picture of that if you are interested in seeing it. As far as I know this is the only one that has ever been found.

Top quality collection there,love the luke jedi bits.
One question please,where did the coin frame come from?is it a custom made one?if so how easy are they to make?if not then where did it come from as i'm curious to find out cos I really want one!!

It is a custom frame that I built by following this guide. It does take some time to put together, but well worth the effort in the end.
Couldn't wait any longer, so I made an Ikea run to pick up a couple more Detolf cases.
I'm still finalizing some things, but this is pretty close to the finished setup. I hoping to sell off a few vehicles that I no longer have room for to help cover the cost.

Thanks for the links Carl. I'm not quite ready to drop the cash on the dreaded Skiff coin.
Brian's Toys must have dropped their reserve. They have put it up for auction a few times and it never sold. They were asking $999 direct on their site. They had the same price on the Greedo coin as well.

looking at them prices i am so glad i got mine when i did ($200) i picked it up off ebay (BIN) from todd chamberlian.
I could not justify paying that kind of price for a coin, besides if its gonna go in a frame, i wouldnt wanna pay the extra which comes with graded stuff. I am sure you will get it cheaper than that, its all about waitng until the right one comes along, good luck with the hunt! i will keep an eye out for 8)
