Hi SW Fan,

Very nice card backs indeed. It's good to have created a thread about card backs only, given the price of MOC's these days!!
Personally, I'm very keen on European card backs (mostly French ones).
See pics below.
Regards.

Hi Star Wars Fans,

Posted some more pics of Meccano card backs. Unfortunately, I don't have any Palitoy's. But I remember well having seen an entire diorama of them when I first came in GB, with my classroom. It was in 1982! There were all displayed in the shop window of WoolWorth's in Windsor High Street... I wondered why the ESB cards were rectangular, and not square. And I concluded that Britons could not do things like other people (at least in that case).. Of course I was wrong. I should have bought the whole lot!!.

Regards.

Greetings!

I don't post here very much, but I love the card backs and love threads showing them off so I wanted to contribute my little run with you.
By the way, very cool stuff fellas! :)

I wanted to share my Palitoys with you guys figuring you'd appreciate the lovely logo! I absolutely love it!

I picked up the majority in a lot a little bit back....

41 Backs

And I didn't take shots of the 45s and up........... yet...........................

And after a while of figuring out how I want to display my backs, I decided on using the Itoya Art Portfolio 6"x12" with 24 acid free pages which holds 48 card backs in total side by side.

It allows for a nice flip through and shows the fronts and backs nicely. I'll will try to see if I can double them up for my trilogos since the backs are all the same. It would be nice to have all mine in one book. :)

I just picked one up to see and so far I think this works best for my purposes. I;ll need to fins some nice SW themed bookends next. |8

They are $8 with free prime shipping at Amazon (in the US) so I just ordered 5 more. That should hold a good majority of the backs I want to show. And printing a quick spine makes them sit on the shelf nicer plus helps quickly ID whats in what.

This one is just my Palitoy stuff (mostly front logo'd). No particular order other than main batches all together (12, 20, 30, etc.) not by sub-batches (A,B, etc.).

The video is just to show better how it looks and works in hand.

Loving the palitoy cardbacks and palitoy display binder. Looks great!

I went down the book shelf route cause I have so many!

Cardbacks Display Limelight

Got hold of some BCW 6x9 top loaders with stands for display, so now I can display some of my many cardbacks.
It was hard to pick just 12 out of the many I have, but these represent and good deal of the toy company logos,
the different film logos and types of card there are to collect!

Thanks, have only had them displayed for a few hours , but I like the idea of rotating the display round different themes.
