Right , back to the display cabinet just for a moment.

I spent yesterday drawing up plans, discussed it a bit and finalised all the measurements, now I am waiting on a price and the go ahead from the joiner!

Looks the business in my head and on paper, hope it comes out ok!

Thanks guys, it "should" look really nice, I won't give away any details just yet but once its done I can give you all the measurements /specs you want!

If the guy wants too much to knock it up (which I highly doubt!) then me and my brother in law are going to do it instead, to be honest when you think about it it's not so hard to do, we do all the DIY around here anyway so I am sure we can figure it out!

I enjoyed designing it though!

Well, the guy was pretty busy but he did quote me on two cabinets (£40 for 2!)

He gets both plans tomorrow and HOPEFULLY by the end of the week I will have it on the wall!

I can't wait, I never really ever had a display, apart from that black display cabinet you might have seen in pictures of my loose set and a shelf for my other bits and bobs so it feels great to actually (finally) get something set in stone!

Let's hope it turns out the way I want , will post pictures

When I started designing mine, suddenly my wife decided she wanted one as well, so the guy said well I can do 2 for that price if you want - bingo and then I got the joy of designing one that she liked, which I quite enjoy 8)
