Modern Showcase

I didn't really know where to show my collection as it is modern mixed in with vintage so here will have to do and maybe others could follow suit. I just didn't want to post in the vintage showcase to upset anyone as i have both blended together and can't really have a focus of either as i have to share the space up there with the xmas tree stuff, kids toys and my ebay selling gear :wink: . Sorry about the shoddy lighting and camera work but i hope some of you can appreciate the beauty of some, not all, of the modern stuff. I bang modern figures on the ceiling and my vintage loosies are in baggies across the middle beams. Everytime i buy a vintage carded i take down the loosie so it helps me remember who i need to get
People, don't be afraid of the vintage bullies and i would appreciate your comments

You should have the mods move this to the vintage section, there are lots of showcases there with mixed collections,
never read a bad word on those in regards to the modern stuff.

Look great, I do love some of the modern stuff, they can just make things today that they couldn't back in the 80's.

Many thanks for the kind words guys n gals. It's took me an age to post photos as i did'nt really think the modern/vintage look would be appropriate on this forum but heck i went for it the other day. This room is my loft as i havent got any room to put it all in the house plus the missus would either kill me or hoover half of it up without batting an eyelid the bitch 8)
Chris, my kids love going up there but i can't leave them on their own as i fear hearing the sound of ripping cardboard........

Spectaluar! Some nice modern in there, like the Endor bunker and the massive AAT. I do have bit of modern that I hunted down in bargain bins at the time. Can't go wrong with SW figs for £1 a go really, even if I give the lot to my daughter when she's a but older. I understand why the modern gets a bit of a bashing, but there's been some great toys made too. Love my Republic gunship I found for £8 in Woolworths!

Are you sure you didn't steal those pictures from me? My basement looked like that! I had all of the figures on the walls and shelfs everywhere with all playsets and such on them. I called it the best wall paper in the world. :lol:
