Modern for sale thread

Guys looking for advice from some experienced sellers -

My daughter is thinking of selling her TFA and TLJ collection to fund her new passion - Hot Toys 1/6th scale in particular EU characters


She has LOTS of loose mint complete figures, only opened and displayed
Lots of carded figures from both films
Die Cast vehicles
Disney Elite figures
6" Black Series figures - opened, displayed but now back in original boxes
Hot Toys Rey 1/6th figures

So what's her best option - 1 big job lot or smaller bundles e.g. all the loose, all the carded, all the 6"?
I was a wee bit worried about her selling all this but she's quick to point out the prequel toys were her childhood toys and when I see the price of Hot Toys I can see why she needs the cash :lol:

db94 - different people collect different things so I should think smaller lots will gain overall higher yield in money gained. I know it would be a lot of work but request valuations from a list as some carded figures may demand more than others. As TFA and TLJ are heavily discounted within the retail world at this time, some rarer ones might help balance out the common ones.
I would start with a list and ask for valuations first. This should provide a further sift or guidance for you moving forward on individuals, small lots or one big lot to a dealer, etc.

Taff, no need to worry my friend it's still all good this end but i have this massive Black Series addiction right now and there's that much new stuff coming out for pre order that i need funds for so i'm just moving on a few pieces that are prodding out of shelves and units that are not even getting displayed and need to be better loved than i can manage at the moment! Would anyone like it
It corrugated cardboard and is free standing.
I don't want anything for it as it cost me nothing, so if you want it, shout.
I would have no idea how to post it without it being destroyed, so suggest collect only.
I'm in Kent, but am going to Sandown Park toy fair in November, or could possibly get it to FF in December.

I was thinking Hasbro release dates, expected times at expected retailers, the finds that are reduced and where, etc? Like info service at first rather than an expert info, although guests that know their lines would make it interesting?

I think it would do well indeed, it may in fact breath a bit of life into the modern section of this forum as well as modern collecting as a whole. Things like how and where to look, as well as areas collectors have had luck finding items and so forth.

I'm sure many including myself would support it for sure.
