Just wondered what peoples opinions are of paint rubs on the insides of moc bubbles.Do people own them,Does it bother you, would you avoid a moc because of it,does it affect the overall grade a carded figure could get etc.

I have one here it's an at-at driver. The paint rubs not much but I can see a small bit around the hands.
When I look at it closely the paint doesn't look as good on the whole figure maybe that caused it? The paint doesn't seem to be as good as whats on my other figures. I will keep him for now but i hope to move him on over time.
The bubble is partly open on the card. Maybe that contributed to my paint problem.

If the card and bubble is in excellent shape then as long as the figure isn't discolored or severely frosted then a bit of paint rub means nothing to me , I'm not picky about the condition of the figure etcetera afa 80,85,90 it's all the same to me and they will all get identical money from me .

As I primarily collect Triligos, pain rubs inside the bubbles are standard. Although I'd never reject a MOC because of it given a choice I'd choose the MOC that didn't have any.

It definitely does affect the grade of the figure. It tends to happen to trilogos as there is more room for the figure to bounce around inside the bubble. I don't mind it unless it causes a massive nose run or something.

Sure if I had the choice I would choose a perfect example every time but that just isn't realistic in this game :!:
Also I think all these little types of imperfections add something authentic and historic to the piece 8)

I'm sure I have some less noticeable ones, but my prime example is an Anakin Tri-logo, the hair paint has left a very noticeable rub inside the bubble.

To be honest its the figure I'm most irritated with in my collection. The first MOC i had of it, the card was mint and bubble a little dented, but the bugger popped through the bubble top in transit. My supposed upgrade has a crisp clear bubble no dents, but the card is more creased than I'd like... loathed to even try to buy a third... don't even like the figure that much!

Yeah.... you guys are right, all of the mocs I see that have inside paint rubs are trilogo.

My yak face has it which im a little annoyed about and I can't remember if they were there when I bought it or they have appeared while I owned it.

I know that rattling around in a bigger bubble will cause this, but is there other factors as well like not quite dry paint when packaged, tacky paint gone off maybe by offgassing,or how about high summer temperatures that soften the paint then the moc gets banged about.

It does bug me quite a bit but I guess its better then yellow bubbles and is just another quirk of trilogos.

I got a denger tri logo on the way that also has some paint rubs hopefully it aint too bad.

I had a good stock of MOC Tri-logos years ago and all of the Dangers were terrible - loads of paint streaks on the bubbles, plus weirdly posed limbs. (Very sloppy!) Also from the same batch was a Tri Fett (regrettably long sold) in a smilier state.
