**** happens...one day, god forbid, something really life changing might happen and the acquisition or non-acquisition of a 3 inch figure will come sharply into perspective it's no big deal. You should trust each other to know it was a misunderstanding and shake and make up. Seriously.

For the time being here are cut and pastes of both my email to Mete and his reply(his snarkyness in the reply is based on my initial (in post) response, which he obviously also read before replying at 6:14:

I never sent a reply. I sent a curt and rude email as the original sender entitled "you know what Joe", at 6:14 in response to him originally posting in the FS thread that the ERG was priced especially high because I knew he wanted it (that portion of his post has since been edited). Which pissed me off, because the prices were set by the seller.

Well then take a screenshot of what your original email was. Because my email to you being a prick was originated by me, it was not a replt to anything and I just posted the screenshot proving it

There are only 2 logical things that happened here, which everyone can plainly see.

1. You sent an email to steencitydoc and not steelcitydoc
2. No email was ever sent

A screenshot will make this all 100% crystal clear and the sooner the better so we dont have keep wasting our time with this BS.

Joe, in his haste to sent Mete an email wrote in the wrong email address. Mete was replying - but to Joes RS post not the email. Joe is annoyed because he thinks he got in there first - but actually he didn't because he sent it to the wrong address

So basically, Mete did nothing wrong, and although Joe had the intent to get the email in there at the right time, because of his error, it didn't get there

He has said that he is not computer savvy - perhaps he just thought that your email coming through was a reply - even though you don't quote his previous email (mainly because it never arrived to you)

Hopefully this can be put to bed now - there is obviously bad blood between the pair of you but in this case it is just a simple error that has caused all the problems

I agree with Iain there, that seems how it panned out to me. The only confusion to me is the original or new mail from you Mete has a subject title (above) showing "Re:" suggesting it was a response although the subject "you know what Joe sounds like something you typed in yourself. Just odd to include a "Re:" in as well into a new email.

I always looked up to you and your collection. I respected you DESPITE all the times youve wronged me. There are many people, close friends of yours even, who have asked me why you have constantly **** on me....FROM DAY ONE. You're just dragging it out Mete, I'd have been done with this bullshit 2 pages ago, no whining no ego needed. People asked why I was done with the hobby, I explained. IF I could get the screen shot to take I'd have already posted both the initial email to you as well as your response. Enjoy your vendetta against me. I'll be enjoying spending money on hobbies that are less stressful and less annoying. My day to day is stressful enough as it is.

I wanted to send it as quickly as possible because of the 1st come 1st serve nature of the post... Mete and I had previously talked, he knew I wanted the ERG, so clarity of intent was previously determined. To be fair to him he even tried to enlist the help of another collector to jump on the item once posted, to help bypass my RS ban. I felt that a sock puppet would give me more control of the quickness on the reply, so I made one that afternoon specifically for the sale. A mis cue on another group had him not happy w. me which is why I feel he intentionally bumped me out of the running on the piece.

As previously stated, I've been back and forth on the edge of walking away since after CVI. This was just the final "**** you" to get me motivated to sell.

Yes Joe, its all a conspiracy against you. All the falling outs youve had with other collectors, the insane rants, getting kicked off RS, its all because people are out to get you. Not your fault at all. You treat everyone with respect. And now I have single handedly succeeded in kicking you out of the hobby. That all makes perfect sense. And dont worry, its not your fault that you accuse me of being a liar when every shred of evidence suggests its the other way around. That was my fault too for denying the might bootleg emperor his figure. Its not that hard to take a screenshot. Why not post it and prove me wrong? Oh wait, you simply dont have time to do it. Getting kicked off of RS was Philip getting pissy and egotistical over a very calm and reasonable post saying that I was going to take some time off from posting there, and me trying to delete MY pictures. Not over any arguments with others. Other collectors I've had falling outs with.... Adam...who offered me an item then pulled it back because I only wanted that piece(despite my willingness to pay his asking price) and not 5k worth of other stuff as well. And Kim, who tried to sell me figures as Polish prototypes that weren't, then tried to not give me a full refund on them. Yeah.... While I may have gone overboard in my replies to the Adam situation, it still was a shitty thing to do on his part.
Now compare that to the hundreds of people I've looked out for items for, and have sold stuff to for lower than market prices to in the past(when I've gotten good deals and been able to pass them on). Do I have my enemies...of course, I'm not everyones favorite person. But the friends I have from the hobby, I'll have....hobby or not. I'm content in that.
