For a bet Todd covered his ass in whipped cream, shoved strawberries up his butt and asked a guy to enjoy the feast. He obliged.

he asked for a reach around and I could not find anybody to broker that. :D

Look harder.

Be stiff in your searches.

FEEL!- don't think.

Use your instincts.

'Todds ass buffet' is always getting in the way of SWFUK being taken seriously as a mature place to discuss the finer points of Vintage Star Wars collecting in a friendly, mature and constructive manner...

Come on now...Let me buy you a pint.

Sad to see Joe break up his collection, and while I don't collect many bootlegs myself I have a huge amount of respect for what he has achieved over the years and always enjoyed looking at the photos and various limelights.

Wish him good luck with the sales.

****ing hell I have collected many things over the years - Old skateboards, bikes, vinyl, toys, ghettoblasters.

But I have never come across as many people who have shitty fits, dramas and disputes about stuff as I have since joining the SW collecting world.

It was all so simple when I was little :?

We aren't kids swapping figures in the playground for 50p or sweets any more my friend :)

High end Vintage collecting is quite rightly not for everyone, it can be a dog eat dog hobby when you get that far up the food chain because of the amounts of money involved, the rarity of the items people are chasing and the competition you have to face in order to acquire grail items. I am not saying it's right or wrong, that's just how it is and people should accept it because that is how it'll always be. There just isn't enough "precious" to go around.

Anyway back to this incident - do I think Joe is right to throw his toys out of the pram each time **** hits the fan? Not at all.

I like Joe on a personal level and I have spent many late nights chatting away to him over the years so I know just how devoted he is to what he collects which contributes heavily IMO to how he reacts to **** in the collecting world. He definitely isn't perfect nor is he right 100% of the time but deep down he is a good guy and it will be a real shame if he leaves for good, breaking up without doubt the best UZAY/Bootleg collection in the world.

Personally I wish everyone would just get on but I guess without a bit of drama in the hobby it would all be pretty boring wouldn't it?

Best of luck to Joe and to Mete of course, I think many people commenting on the boards are caught in the middle of all of this because they consider both parties friends. Sad day.

I understand that Joe, Skateboard collecting sees a lot of money exchange hands too.
Its just in 10 years seriously collecting boards there always seem to be more dramas regarding SW than any other collecting. Granted the majority of it seems to originate from RS :D

Really doesn't help the comicbook guy image of the profession either
