Do you still have to pay to play online at X-Box? at playstation this is free aswell mate....

I use my playstation as harddisk (media center), blu-ray player, for photo's and music and offcourse gaming. I bought the first release PS3 and never had any problems, still happy with that thing.

Whilst a friend of mine now has 3th X-box and another one his 2nd X-Box in the same timeframe as i have my PS3..... Circle of death....

yeah you pay a yearly or monthly fee, get free games and stuff like that, i dont play online personally but when i have the speed is fantastic, i tried on a ps3 and it lagged but online gaming isnt for me.

Most TV's now have media function, so you simply plug your USB hard drive into a tv and it plays all your media anyway, ill deffo get one and ditch my bluray player, only thing is i love the xbox game lineup, just out of spite ill get a ps4 though i think

I've always been a ps player, I guess that's mostly because of the "nostalgia" of playstation,
I still have my ps1 and ps2, and will never sell them, the PS3 I've had 3 times, but I get bored easily with the
"new" games so that console is easy to move on.

Imo, the exclusives for the Xbox1 trumps the PS4, but I hate the Kinect, so we'll see what happens around the release date,
the fact that the xbox now doesn't have to be online is a big plus, since I don't play online.

BTW, to play online with the PS4 you have to pay a $5 fee each month, not much, but some people think it's a big minus.

I thought you've always had to pay to play online with the Xbox? I agree tho it's a step backwards. Tho i don't play online so it won't affect me.

no mate neither will be, although there may be the option for a downloadable content/version of the game.

Well, Halo is Xbox only so Im gonna stay with Xbox forever, besides Ive felt the 360 has been far superior to the ps3 when it comes to online gaming and the controllers are imo way better.

The whole "have to be online"-part didnt bother me either as in 2013 most people are connected 24/7.

So, as long as they do a decent job with the Halo series, Im staying

Wow really? I loved that one as well, so atmospheric and ahead of its time. I played it recently on the Amiga emulator I have and was surprised how good it still is. Can't wait to see the PS4 version in that case
