No need for this thread at all................I just couldn't resist, if only to imortalise this;

"Liverpool were the better side and fully deserved to win" Alex "****" Ferguson (He ain't no ****in 'sir' to me) 4.05pm 25/10/09

Seriously though, a midfield with Giggs AND Scholes, both starting!? Both fantastic players, with more medals than you could shake a stick at, but also both the wrong side of 35!
In a game that is always gonna be high tempo and intense, surely someone who could run a bit more would have been a better idea? I'm not his biggest fan but would Anderson not have been a better starter?

Carragher/Owen.........Seen plenty of people (in Carragher's position) sent off. Lucky to get a yellow.
Vidic/Kuyt..............Very similar to the above, as Carragher was only booked only fair Vidic was only booked, but more often than not both are straight reds. Mind you there were more Liverpool players within reach of Owen than United players within reach of Kuyt. BUT I guess Owen was 20-25 yards out where as Kuyt was on the half way line.
At the end of the day both got yellows for very similar fouls, so all's fair I guess. The ref was consisent.

I thought Mascarano was unfortunate. He pulled out of the tackle with VDS when he realised he wasn't getting the ball. VDS made a meal of it, but then players do that and I guess Mascherano should know better, so............

****, how did i miss this thread :lol:

it was a tactical ploy by united . if we had won on sunday it would have made 6 ( including **** cup in the week ) losses on the trot and rafa would have been sacked... this could have lead to liverpool getting a decent manager, one who puts whats best for liverpool fc and not to just pump their own ego, and actually winning the league this season, and going on to better times. ... so it was far better to lose ( we did twice last season, and still won the league, charity shield, world club cup, carling cup and finish up at the european cup final) and let the spanard stay at the helm :lol:

or at least thats what i think

I wonder why you weren't on last week! :lol:

No doubts Liverpool are playing terribly at the minute. Still not convinced United are playin that well either, better than 'Pool obviously, I guess we find out when they play Chelsea next weekend.

Worth a bump after today's result. Not often Utd lose at home,not seen the game but does anyone know how much Fergie time was played????

Bet he squeaks about it saying it wasn't enough,tough **** pal,play more then 1 striker if you want to score :D :D :D

yep, our season is a disaster :roll: :lol:
joint top in the league, semi;s of the worthless cup, knockout stages of europe and still got the fa cup to come... :p
