latest film/ dvd you have seen

Watched Creed last night and other than essentially being a remake, the same which could have been said of TFA, I thought it was an enjoyable way to kill a couple of hours and to be honest the actual fight scenes were pretty good.

Watched The Shallows last night. Was hoping for a modern take on Jaws, buy no of course like every new film it's just nonsense. I won't spoil it but the end shark death scene is particularly ridiculous.

Just watched the last bourne film....... i think they need to stop it now!
I was a bit dubious about the revenant but actually really enjoy it.

Is the Revenant based on fact? Most of the opening scenes seems pretty believable?

I haven't watched it all yet! Leo is getting his back stitched for the camera at min. I would be interested in reading the book?

Leo's Character if the Natives had finished him at the time the story wouldn't have survived.

Leo's Character if the Natives had cut his throat! the story wouldn't have survived.

"The Revenant; a novel of revenge" was the book about it... i looked in to it but never got around to doing anything about it.

I am watching the remaining of the movie now! It really is interesting about how the Native American tried to defend their land from Invaders.

The Martian
Surprisingly good! I usually dislike critics choices, but it was really well shot, had a real sense of jeopardy and for a fantastical made up mars mission film actually had a real sense of reality. Highly recommended.

Watched the girl with all the gifts. It's a zombie film not some gay as **** chick flick, honest!

It's ok, it reminds me of the book "I am legend" not the bastardisation that Will Smith was in. It's not your typical Holywood film, few major plot holes and a serious lack of female nudity, but then it is a zombie movie so you gotta accept that. If you like Zombie films it may be worth a look, slightly different take on it all.

Just watched Waffle Street on Netflix, pretty good way to kill 90 minutes. About an ex banker turned waiter turned financial advisor based on a true story.

Shutter Island, great film, sucks you in and keeps you guessing right till the end. Definitely worth a watch.

Ive just watched independence day resurgence and i have to say if you want to watch a really good film, i strongly recommend ......you dont watch that pile of dog ****!

Oldies but goldies...

Last night I watched Breakfast Club, but as that was on it reminded me of another 80s classic - Weird Science.

Tonight I put it on and remembered how much I loved that film. Plus Kelly LeBrock has to have been the most beautiful woman in the world at that point. Perfection 8)

Just started watching The Hateful Eight I hope it improves! I am a big fan of Tarantino but it's not doing it for me at the min. Maybe I am over analzing it :)

Bought and watched Deadpool at the weekend. Bloody loved it, very funny and gritty, a bit different for a Marvel film. Mental special effects and got the blu ray, this film's got to be seen in HD.

I really enjoyed The Hateful Eight, classic Tarantino. Thought Kurt Russel was brilliant and I loved the way it was shot and the music and everything. Top marks for me that one :)
