'This is England' a film by Shane Meadows..

Love Shane Meadows films, Dead Mans Shoes is the best british film in years for me, watched This is England the Other night and another top top film. Set in the early 80's around the falklands about the emergance of the national front, funny in parts and then like so many of his films shocks you and makes your skin turn cold... great soundtrack too, loads of ska and punk. I'd recommend any Shane Meadows film especially Dead Mans Shoes and Room for Romeo Brass best british director around at the moment.

i watched this is england and didnt see the point to the film :?

I watched Pirates of the Caribean 2 on friday night.
I wasn't impressed. It takes forever, longer than LOTR's for god sake. It didn't really feel like much was happening either, I was waiting for the end from about an hour in. Plus it just seemed to be made to allow them to make another sequel.
As for that scene with the wheel from the mill, they roll about 27 miles before the things tips over.

I got Casino Royale out as well, but after POTC I was almost asleep so didn't watch it.

Don't think I'll bother going to see the third one!

Talking of japanese horror 2stripes the audition is one sick film and the bird is as fit as ****

My mate is a bruce campbell fan and been buying all the films he has starred in including tons of cameos, always pays to go to school with sam raimi

anyways he brought round the intruder from the late 80's and boy what a pile of cack

Just watched blades of glory and thought it was funny as ****. I like cheesy stupid comedy films that dont really involve having to think about a deep plot.

I really liked Phone Booth and I think it was very underated.

A really good film, but did you not think that the ending was a bit weak in comparison to the rest of the film?

I have recently watched Saw III for the second time. Definitely better then the second Saw despite the pit of syringes.

Getting a bit worried about the fact that my chap doesn't seem keen on going to the cinema to see Spiderman 3; he wants to wait for DVD!

I may have to take my nephew, whether he likes it or not! :p

started to watch spider man 3 in little lasses bedroom last night.little jabba started crying so popped in to him when i went back in my crisps and remote were on floor.
i said why have you done that ,to which she said i can sit on floor as her bed is not comfy with me on .i said no chance i would just go down stairs ........she said go on then   so i have watched 1st 5 mins .
little git kicked me out her room after i had talked her mam in to letting her watch it

Bless her!!!!

I watched it at the cinema, its was ok. There was too much going on in some parts. Your eyes just go into overload!

I saw Spider-Man 3 at the cinema this weekend and quite enjoyed it. Would like to have seen more of Venom though. Also where was his spider senses?? Sandman was awesome as well imo :)

I watched Spidey 3 also...it was ok, underwhelming like the first 2.

None of them have been brilliant I dont think, Hellboy is a good example of how you convert a comic into a movie

Kinda off thread a bit here, but I sat and watched an old VHS copy of the ESB on Sunday night (I found it amongst a pile of videos at the folks). It must have been recorded sometime in the early 80's because it still had all the 80's ads in it :D .
It was quite weird sitting watching old adverts that you remember from when you were a kid but haven't seen for literaly decades, good fun though

Just watched alpha dog and i must say i was very impressed. It was a good film. What made it better was it was based on 100% fact and not some rambling holywood made up story. Top film. :D

just watched district 13 not the greatest storyline but the martial arts are absolutely fantastic. it is the french guys that do the parkour stuff recomend a watch if you enjoyed the opening of james bond then you will love this.

I'm still way behind in watching films so I have only just got around to watching "The 40 year old virgin" and "Rocky Balboa" !!

Hopefully I'll get to watch Spiderman 3 and The Condemned in the next couple of weeks !! 8)
