latest film/ dvd you have seen

I've also seen Inside Out recently as well as The Good Dinosaur. Well by seen I mean the first hour of both before the boy had enough of the cinema on their cheap kids screenings, saw enough to know were getting them both on Blu Ray

Whent with my Dad to watch Dad's army the other night as it was his birthday, was alright but woulden't recommend paying to watch it.

Critics have panned it, and it has a low IMDB score. Won't waste my time :D

Yeah, not sure why they even bothered, it was never gonna be a patch on the original series and it's not like the public were crying out for a film (featuring none of the original cast, for obvious reasons). It just smacks of someone trying to make a few quid by exploiting an old favourite.
I'll be going nowhere near it.

Watched a couple of films this weekend 'What We Do In The Shadows' which is a spoof documentary about Vampires living in New Zealand. It was made by the Flight Of The Conchords people and is pretty funny. Also the old John Carpenter film 'They Live' which is an all time classic in my book. OBEY!

Just watched Bridge of Spies.........absolute classic. Awesome acting, great sets/costumes. Another great Hanks film

Kids have been showing interest in seeing Zoolander 2, wife and I have both repetitively said a very firm NO..
To convince them it was a waste of a cinema trip, we watched the original on SKY last night, terible, but all four of us were rolling around laughing through most of the film.. partly due to it being so bad and partly because although we didn't remember it being that funny, it actually is... Not sure we can put the kids off much longer, just have to hope the cinema run ends soon!

Scouts guide to the Zombie apocalypse 8/10 enjoyed it, stupid but entertaining
Dirty Grandpa 8/10 laughed a lot in a few parts, generally stupid bullshit but again very entertaining, i do like toilet humour!

I went to see Zoolander 2 last night. It's worse than the first.
There are some funny bits in it ("she's got a mouth like one of those Chinese finger puzzles, when you try to pull out it just gets tighter and tighter") but the plot is daft and for the most part it's pretty dull. Probably a solid 3.5 out of ten. Saved only by the one or two moments of comedy otherwise it's a 1.
I'd try to avoid it if I was you.

Not good to hear about Zoolander 2. Not hearing anything good about it. My wife is dying to watch it, and going on these reviews and IMDB I'm going to put it off as long as possible. We thought the first was bloody hilarious.

Just watched the new The Man From Uncle. Not too bad at all. Well cast, actors did excellent foreign accents, clothes design and scenery was stunning, and some well thought out ideas for the editing ideas. There's something missing from making it a classic, but I can't quite put my finger on what's missing.

Watched Chappie this afternoon, at first thought it was a bad Robocop ripoff but enjoyed it once it got going. Not in any hurry to see Robot cops on the streets anytime soon tho.

Mission Impossible 5. I keep watching each new one hoping it's gonna have a bit more substance, but it's just another excuse for Tom to take his top off, and for everyone in the film to say just how good To... Ethan is.

Bone Tomahawk, a return to the old school western but with a touch of modern gore.
I enjoyed it but the moments of quiet then seconds of ultra violence I did find unnerving, a bit real I would imagine.

Check it out if you can.

Ohh yeah, I saw Deadpool last week. It's actually very good. Not your normal super hero zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Worth catching.

Saw Deadpool opening night with my mrs and we were both in stitches the whole way through the film. Definitely a new take on super hero films. Well worth watching it!
